Hi guys ,I have 10 ww growing in a extra basement room and as far as smell its just not there unless you rough them up and they are into there 5 week of flowering and are about 5ft tall.I thought it would be worse but not bad at all…just thought I would share.

Have you checked ph of soil ?

Don’t underestimate the smell of ww. Your nose could just be used to the smell to the point that you don’t perceive it anymore. Let a visitor be the judge of that…lol

It should. Make sure your PH is right if not its as good as not feeding them at all.

PH Has been good from the start

Yes yellow lower leaves are from nitrogen deficiency, or calcium deficiency

Got the girls fed with the grow big yesterday, they seem to be liking it already seeing more growth than when I fed them! New leaves looking great  thanks for the help!

Whats up fellow growers, girls are still looking pretty good, along with their new growth I decided to go ahead and TOP the few ladies who were previously FIMMED but still had just the 1 stalk. Maybe I did the FIM process wrong or sumthing… But note to self…I will be FIMMING from here on out!!
Got my PH kit in and got to test everything from my nute mix to my runoff and everything sits right in the perfect zone of 5-6 so all systems go however read an article that had me thinking my cal/mag might be a little low?.. Decided to make my own cal-mag with eggshells and vinegar and add that into my ph’d water… Along with powdered eggshells in their soil. Made sure not to use too much, but I’m hoping they’ll appreciate the love

Last but not least, LST’d the girls to get more light all up in through her… Fortunately found some string lying around the house
My upcoming plans include getting them transplanted to 2-gal pots to conclude my veg state, and getting another LED specifically one that has the switch for veg/bloom. Any suggestions for brand or make are appreciated!

Questions for you: Im already at week 6 on the girls, n want to veg about another month …yet most grows I’ve read up on would be flower by now!? I want them bigger & fuller…question is, am I waiting on something to happen in veg that will naturally happen in flower?

Also do more fan leaves = bigger/more buds?? I’ve had to remove alot of dead yellow leaves from the bottom so Im worried!! :disappointed:

Thanks :+1:  :hugging:

Have you resolved what’s causing the yellow leaves? I can’t help but think PH is off. I think I read 5-6? Maybe 6.5 would help with the yellowing, at least stop it from continuing.

yep, it’s organic soil, that pH is a little low for that medium, this pic shows nitrogen gets absorbed better at a 6-7 range, maybe accounts for the yellowing

This is my main stressor right now thoes darn yellow leaves!! I haven’t noticed the yellow spread to any more branches/leaves for that matter, hoping these may be the last few and once they wither and die Im hoping for an even green canopy :head_bandage:

As far as ph goes…its hard to say with the equipment I have, the water is tested with dropper kit and soil with a gauge meter tupe thing. Neither test gives me an exact number so I wing it by range. Water/nutes are ph’d at a greenish/yellowish color… Per chart thats 6.5-7.0…
And the soil meter I have sits right at around 7??
Uploading…

@Lo4Grow whatever you were uploading on the last post didn’t make it
