Nice plant. Your method is working… I would say 2 weeks at best. You got a good ways to go yet.
Sounds about right. Thanks!
Nice monster plant!
Funny! It IS a photoperiod plant, and I started it WAY too early. I’d honestly be happier with the size of yours. We’ve already lost two BIG branches to wind, and we can’t figure out any way to support what’s here.
Shes huge and ya, you got a long way too go. Thats a white widow? Thats the biggest white widow ive ever seen. But im sure they can get big. Nice work. Beautiful plant.
Looks a lot like mine. And yes, the yo-yo weather in upstate NY has been a potential problem, too. Good for the learning curve, I suppose.
@Gaia69 nice big girl try and get some big pole buried in and run string to each of them then tie branches to the strings for support sorter like this but I used metal hot house poles that joined together.
Thanks! We used screws in the roof they’re next to to anchor enough (I hope!) strings to get them to maturity. I will be moving a very large tent-shaped trellis made of pvc pipe to the spot to grow them next season. Then I Can drape their branches over the rungs on both sides and even throw a tarp over the top if things turn ugly.
