Yeah any questions let me know I’m around, the best is to find someone’s style you align with and follow their advice otherwise to much noise can get overwhelming.
Also find an ally in learning, following someone else who is learning at your same skill level helps to.
Me and @Not2SureYet grew autos and followed each others posts learning a bit here and there. It helps to have a grow mentor and a grow friend.

@Syndrix I had my one & only brush w the law in ROA! Speed limit drops to 65 in Va & I was doing over 80 so wreckless driving & judge suspended license for a yr, jail time as time served…all for a speeding tkt! I avoid the area & drive the speed limit in Va now! Bad snow storm had shut everything down so went to the one place open, danced on the bar & had a great time w new friends the night before court!

I’m in the Memphis area, so I definitely know about the humidity! 115 in the summer with like 75% humidity. Nuts! Never done an outside grow though, I’m indoors with a DWC system. First grow though! Always a lover of cannabis wanted to grow my own meds. Medicinal cannabis is way to expensive here. I think I was paying 400 an oz for top shelf cannabis.
I’m a first timer I did have sucess so far I’m about to harvest in a week then the week of drying I’m starting over. I’ll be sure to keep up with you if you keep posting. And yea you gotta watch out in VA it’s a commonwealth and they generate a lot of revenue from out of Towner’s on 95 and 64.

@Awarth32 uggg it’s typical to be high 90’s with 98%humidity. Break a sweat walking to the mailbox! I spent 4 months working in Las Vegas & the humidity is so low I was begging for home with humidity & green grass/trees which Vegas has neither. My skin felt like it was on fire. After that I said I won’t complain about our humidity & I’ve pretty much kept at it.
@Waltjoe420 Yes, pls do keep in touch. I’m just starting my 1st grow so you’re a bit ahead but close enough to share experience. Indeed to the $ I spent on a wreckless driving (speeding lol) tkt. With everything it ended up costing me abt $1500. That’s incl a train from NYC, car rental, hotel, lawyer & fine along w my drink tab at O’Henry’s! I don’t drive that fast anymore unless west Tx where speed limit is 80. Although Monta was fun when their speed limit was “reasonable & prudent” meaning no speed limit. Signs actually said that! I hit 100 for a few minutes just because I could.
@Waltjoe420 Yup but don’t say Nawlins, brands you instantly as a tourist. I don’t know where that word started but we definitely don’t talk like that. Our accent is a bit more similar to Brooklyn where many ppl thought I was from there while working there. I’m too Southern for that. Fuhgeddaboutit

I have 3 spider farmer sf-2000’s. (By Samsung-just don’t buy their fridge r washing machine-crap)
They work really well for me. Cost is $299, have seen them on sale for $239. But I am not growing in a tent. I have an extra bathroom that I put up Mylar sheets on the walls for some serious reflection. And the are dimmable. A useful feature I love.

First I would say do you want to grow autos first or photos, then go from there.
I would also strongly suggest avoiding soil unless your dead set on organics.

Decide how much time you want to spend with them do you have alot of time daily or are you already a busy person?
If you don’t want to spend a bunch of time in the garden avoid mainline and scog plant training for now.
