And I’m dead. From laughter. These are the Green Cracks. The OGK is sitting flat. I’m not going to mess with them because they’re flowering, and I a couple balls forming when I first flipped. But this is just hilarious…

@Retiredoldguy indeed they are. The OG Kush is laying flat as a board on the self watering base. The shorter Green Crack has done this since early on, the taller just started in the last week and a half, maybe 2wks.
man that is some weird roots you have grown… never seen that anywhere before…
They’ve wrapped and woven themselves around the wicking strings. The last couple grows did it, but not with this much vigor. I cleaned them up earlier in the grow to try and avoid this, but I guess it was wasted effort lol. They’re still sucking up a gallon+ a day, so no hindrance there. The thing that gets me, is the first time this happened in my first grow using the bases, the plant roots basically clogged and the plant quit eating. I had to shave off a huge root mass. Hurt her real bad. These are thriving, though, so I’m gonna proceed as normal.
I agree they look real healthy with those ‘cat paws’ to suck up the nutes…
Hoe. Lee. Cheeut. I had to talk to the money guy yesterday. My wife is the smart one there. I literally checked out mentally, stuck the phone in her face and said “I don’t understand a single word this man is saying”. I’d take a haunting over the headache any day

The OGK and taller GC have started eating almost 1¼ gallon every day. The shorter GC is taking closer to 3/4. Constantly tucking. Trying like heck not to snip anything for at least a few more days. Like 20 gallons a week. Eating, not pouring and runoff-ing, eating. I can’t wait to get a water filter system at our new home.
The cold front had perfect temps/rh… For 2 days. For 2 days I sat at a perfect 75/50. We had a high of like 45 on Monday. Yesterday it was 83 
It’s already 70 at 7:25am. Double
I do fully expect GC seeds, and maybe some GC x OGK. I missed a male flower on tall GC the other day and found it opened Thursday morning. I’m not trippin. I’ve been checking the hairs and there are some that definitely got splattered. Lights turned up too high, with the UVA, there was almost a strip directly under the UV of sacs forming . So it’s off until the last 2 weeks, and I’ll run it for 30 minutes at either ends of lights on.

Ok, at first this was cool, but now it’s got me thinking it may present a problem real soon. I’m going to drop a couple air stones in the base and see if I can’t get a tiny bit of bubbles/spray to get those exposed roots fed. I think if I can get that working or cover the roots with something, I’ll start seeing more production.
