First timer indoor, new journal: Black Widow, Bruce Banner and GDP photos (Part 1)

@BobbyDigital I feel like I’m doing something wrong here, which is entirely probable.

Plugged meter to outlet. Disconnected the board, so I have only the driver plugged into meter, set to watts. Adjusting to I, there is no fluctuation. Any ideas? Reset the meter, tried again, same.

@dbrn32 last post make sense? Do I need to hook the board back up to close the circuit? Using a meter to check wattage.

Leave the board plugged in, that’s what drawing the watts. I meant to only plug in that light, not a power strip with the other light and fans and stuff.

Was it set there from the factory or did you need to adjust it?

It was almost there. I had to bump it up a smidge to get it in between 130 and 140.

Only thing is, the light bumped up the temp about 5° in the tent. So it’s around 83-84°F

I got the beginner mix goin, one of each AK47, Bubblegum, white widow

You’re fine there. That’s why I was suggesting to keep the driver outside or you’d be hitting 90*

Nice. I have a few others. Best of these 3, I’ll put in my next grow, with 2 new ones. Best of those, same thing.

Keep in mind, also, you can run 6/2 instead of 18/6 to keep the temps lower

I did ok with 100° outside, and it’s just going to get cooler in that room.

So, I’m just leaving the light plugged to the meter. Since I can’t really gauge actual percentage levels, I’ll have to use the wattage to gauge what to set the light at when I start vegging? Or should it be good to just adjust height?

You should have enough height in that tent to just adjust light height. The only time I turn down the lights is the last few weeks before harvest.
