Hi everyone

Is it okay to bring my girls outside to water them? Pretty sunny today and in the low 90s. Easier to work on too because I use a table. Thanks in advance my peeps!. I will post pics of them after I water them. They are napping now lol

Don’t see what it would hurt. As long as they aren’t sitting long enough for bugs to get to them, because then you take bugs back inside !!!

Thanks @Woodbutcher78 my thoughts exactly.

There is also the issue of whether the plants have been hardened? You might avoid the direct sunlight if the are not used to full strength sun
Maybe that does not apply since they are pretty mature though
@Mr_Wormwood I’m thinking that you are right though…I will do it under some shade. Thanks!!
Yeah she looks thirsty to me
Kind at dark green too like maybe too much N?

I have not added any nutes to them, FFOF soil,26 days from germinating.
Here’s the sister
They are getting first dose of cal mag

@Bamamojo when is the last time you watered her before today? I used to overwater the SHIZ out of my girl before I got it right. I noticed that thirst and overwatering sometimes can look the same!
If you haven’t watered her in a while, she’s probably just thirsty
If you do water her regularly, I’d check your N and pH.

It has been 5 days since they had their first gallon of H2O.
I weighed them before and after and they had lost over 8 lbs (1 gal of H2O = 8.34 lbs) plus I used my moisture probe and checked various depths.
I think the fact that she drank that water ( I bottom water most of it) in less than 20 minutes tells me she needed it. Unless I am missing something.
Thanks!!

Oh and I pH’d the water to 6.5 as suggested by @PurpNGold74

Yep she’s thirsty and you verified with weight and probe, nice!

Am I completely off with thinking that it looks dark? I get that it’s just ffof and not anything that can be done, but I’m still learning how to diagnose and if I’m off base with that I probably need to know for the future

Yes it is dark green due to the FFOF, that soil always give plants that “too well fed” look for a while until the nutes in the soil start to deplete a bit. When the plants don’t look so dark green is the sign the nutes are starting to run low and time to start feeding.

I checked run off and it was between 800 and 1100 ppm.
Here’s the thirsty one after watering

The one in the back is lagging her sister in flowering. Same seed batch and environment.

Very nice looking. They are nice and bushy

Same seed batch doesn’t mean the will be identical. As long as they look happy and healthy, you’re in good shape.
And they’re looking good to me
Happy growing

Hi everyone! Hope all is well with you
Ladies were thirsty but not bone dry (verified by weight and probe insertion at various depths).
Last watering was a gallon each. This watering the bigger plant took 1.25 gallons and smaller one took roughly 1.1 gallons. Five days between watering.
Nothing but calmag for now as we aren’t quite 5 weeks from germinating and planted in FFOF. I pHd water to 6.5.
I did do a bit of cleanup. If leaf looked yellow or dying I cut it. If touching ground I cut it too.
Should I be feeding it the flower boost nutes now or wait for FFOF to be depleted?
Finally I intend to LST and do a deeper defoliation starting 3rd week of flowering. I’ve read somewhere to wait until then to start so as to not stunt the plant seeing that it’s not going to be tall anyway.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts or input you may have for me.
Grow on!
