First time with GDP autos

I’m following the advice of a gro-bro who says I can flower at 18/6. lighting. Honestly I was skeptical to even try. I have to say I’m impressed. 9 weeks in flower and the pistols are exploding with large flowering

I am wondering with this being GDP. Waiting on color

Not everything changes color. More often than not they are green. Looking good!

Thank you brother. I’m happy with the outcome so far. Just watching the trics for a little amber and she gets hung

I’m wondering if I can use 18/6 lights on any autos? I have some Frosted Cherry Os I’m starting. They advertised at 12/12 but if I can get them to do like the GDPs that would be awesome

You can run autos 24 hours if you want. That’s nice for an auto. I absolutely do not like autos, but some people do, and have decent luck with them.

What makes you feel like that about autos? Just wondering, I’m on my second run with autos. I’ve never bought seeds only grow what I find in the smoke I’ve gotten

Autos flower regardless of what you have your light set on that’s what it’s different between a photo and an auto. A photo takes 12 and 12 light setting to flower. The autoflower will flower in time typically three to four weeks in veg she will start to pre-flower regardless of your light setting

Also I forgot to mention, those explosive new white pistols you’re referring to are called foxtails

I’ve just tried them several times, and haven’t been pleased with the results compared to my photos. Bud density, and yield just haven’t been up to my expectations.

Auto flowers just aren’t that great. They will NEVER OUT PERFORM the quality of a Photoperiod plant. They almost always take longer than advertised to flower you can’t control when they start flowering or how big they are. You can’t clone them and keep them around. You have to buy a new seed every single time you want to grow one…. The list goes on and on…… just try the photo. Plant and you will see the difference. I started with autos and I will never go back. happy growing :v:

I’m restricted in space is the biggest reason. I could give some a try. I know how to throw them into flower and control size. Autos are just easier
