I did get my tds/ec meters in. Playing with the first cheap one it looks like my tap is 680ppm and 1382ųs/cm yuck
I dont know how to interpret that…in the pamphlet it came with says to multiply TDS by 0.9 to obtain ppm salt level…
What I had been reading earlier talks about the conversion being either 0.5, 0.64 or 0.7, depending on country of meters origin
Is that 0.9 related to these other conversions?

The jug with flower feed I had in the fridge tested at 110ppm - 234ųs/cm(ec?) Am I testing for salt level ppm where I need to multiply the 110 by 0.9?

I don’t use that water Haha was just playing with the tester. I sometimes get the spring water at the store sometimes I’ll refill at like a water and ice store, curious to test those next.

My refill water from water n ice store is 10-11 ppm, cheapest option for me
And I tested the gallon I made 2 days ago (bloom feed) it’s been in the fridge… its reading 100ppm
Do you think it’s bad sitting so long?
I’ll have to make and test a fresh batch to see what it was before 2 days in the fridge

Too old to use imo. U less you have air stones bubbling and aerating it over a period of time. I wouldnt use after 24 hours on WEED. But the front yard loves it

The more oxygen your roots can maintain while drinking water the absolute better. Any teas, feeds, added supplements deserves bubbling. Dont require but good if u got it

Humboldts secret. I did a 1/4 to 1/2 strength in this gallon just to test ppm its reading at:
10ppm before treatment
98ppm after
Noob question… how do u raise the ppm if you already got your nutrients in? More nutrients? Lol

It is liquid nutes by the way, I busted out my other new TDS meter and it says 91ppm I hate cheap shtt but I am gonna let it bubble for a hour or two and check it. Seems like it does lower the ph maybe?
Edit : also I didnt add the calmag and iron? Could that have a big swing on ppm?
