I never actually gave them a full dose, except the plant enzymes I usually put in the 1ml or a little less. The tree trunk and mykos are giving me great roots but it’s my base A base B is where I “think” I went wrong
The orca and mycochum are from the company that does great white shark. I use a drop of orca in my water glasses during germination. And the mycochum I made a couple teas out of and after seeing how far the mycochum brings down the pH, that was probably another reason for issues.
Hmmm maybe try 6ml of A n B this next feeding. If no adverse signs, up it to 9 after. And find out ur pH. Have u adjustd it at all? Adding nutes drops my solution to around 5 and I have to adjust it back up into range
I didnt think I was supposed to add nitrogen(base a) at the mid to late flowering stage…
My runoff was 6.1 6.2 yesterday
You do start to drop it out of the equation but slowly. Nitrogen keeps the leaves green and happy. We dont completely pull it until late in flower. And some people even supplement N all the way thru harvest.
I cut back on the nitrogen too early then… And then didnt feed enough PK nutes as I was weary of the nutrient burn from the first couple plants I tried it on.
I never learned how to water plants
Do you think 100ml per watering for week 1
200ml week2, 400ml after week4 is okay?
then as flowering starts or a couple weeks into flower, it takes alot more water like a gallon??
Or how would you explain the watering process?
Something like that. Amounts wont work cuz u could be in a solo cup or a one gallon or 5 gallons…
When i start a seed, the soil is premoistened before i plant it. Thats good for about a week.
First time i water it, i pour slow slowly. In circles around the edge of the plants leaves. If teaches the roots to search outwards for moisture and spreads the plants quickly. A couple circles and thats fine. No need for runoff cuz roots are still tiny.
Slowly increasing the spread of the circle, increases the amount of water. Around 3+ weeks from seed, u normally have a few nodes and a plant going into veg. Thats when you can start thoroughly wetting your medium.
Yes as they age keep increasing the amount u pour. And in flower they drink much faster. So ull be adding around a gallon at a time.
I read so much BS all the time, it’s nice to see someone lay it on the table in a way that’s comprehensible to us. Thank you so much @PurpNGold74
I will be keeping better logs for myself on this Sweet mix auto pack and with a much better idea of how to start those steps into flower thanks to you
No probs Bob. By all means keep tagging n keep learning. That page we cluttered a bit earlier uses Hunboldt’s as well. N he’s growing a tiny forest in there! Id pick his brain n comb thru his journal for tips on the nutes. Maybe even tag him over and discuss a few feed schedules and what works
@Flipdawg08 elaborate! Lol
@PurpNGold74 my pleasure sir!
@BoomScootBudz I have been using the humboldts secret line since about a month into veg and like I’m sure has been mentioned before hand I used it at about half the reccomend dosage per gallon. Which is always a good way to play it safe. But as time went on I added more as I felt necessary. I also tried to stick to the schedule they supply with the base a and b nutrients but with my own little tweak to it , I always used everything at every watering and just kept on top of making sure i knew what numbers were going in and coming out .
That’s a pic of the schedule they supply which you may already have if you bought the pack deal like I did. Also here is a picture of my logbook where I log exactly what, when , and how much I add to my water which is a 6 gallon reservoir. So just do the math and divide all those numbers by 6 and that’s how much I use per gallon of each specific product . Keep in mind this pic is from one of my last waterings and i am in flower , if you want i can take a pic of one when I was still in veg so you can see the amounts I used then .
I hope this helps , and think that’s it’s really cool that someone else may be able to benefit off of what I log just for myself lol. Makes it all worth while haha. But just let me know if you’d like one of the amounts I used in veg and I’ll send one right over your way .
PS. Dont mind the numbers off to the right that are in the thousands, that’s just the amount of water I give to each plant , which are in 3 gallon fabric pots
Spot on! God I love this site.
Me too! Love being able to give back to the place that has helped me ! Awesome people here !
Thanks both of yall! And welcome!
When u say you used everything everytime, u dont use straight water at all, just feeding?
And ur numbers 1-10 are your feedings every couple days? And 2000ml…that’s how much you gave each plant? ***just saw your PS right on👍🏻
brain damage … I love it🤤
I’ll keep better logging now that I’ve watched veg growth a few different practice runs and start ‘picture time’ every afternoon so I can have a solid grow log on these 10 autos from ILGM sweet mix.
I’m day 14 on 2 gorilla glue, 2 wedding cake, 3 zkittlez, 3 gelato.
@PurpNGold74 The big bud auto got that good hit tonight! I’ll take some pics over a few days to see if theres any recovery from the feeding. Gettin after a ppm meter this week too👍🏻
that big bud lookin nice n thick! Friggin baseball bat lol
I’m stuck between harvesting the lower buds or leaving it all. All bud sites seem to be getting decent light and I dont really want the top cola so big that it falls over cause I did No LST(being my first auto attempt) but at the same time I’d rather start drying some so i can skip the dispensary next week lol. Stuck between a rock and a hard nug
my house been LOUD for weeks, thanks grow store for the cheap carbon filter but I really dont mind the stank.
The top should be the first bud ready for harvest. Typically u harvest it and let the lowers keep cooking.
Yea I got that part, I just need some smoke soon!!!
Threw some crushed oyster shells on the big buds top soil to give her extra calcium, gonna give her the rest of the feed I made yesterday if shes dry enough tonight at lights on
Yes I used every one of the products I listed in the log every single time I would water them , which in veg was about every 2 to 3 days with 1000-1500 ml , and now that they are big ladies in flower i do every other day at the 2000ml , keep in mind you may need to tweak the amount watered from time to time depending on what the soil/plants are telling you . Also I only used straight water for about a month after their transplant into their 3 gal fabric pots due to the fact that I used an amended soil so wanted to let them feed threw what they already had available to them . It may be because my light but ever since I switched over to the hlg 600rspec from my old philzon 1500 watt cobb , the girls are just blasting right threw their watering / feedings because they have enough light to burn threw all that I give them . All in all just make sure your ladies are telling you they need something before you just jump straight into the heavier feedings and whatnot , hope this helps if you ever have any questions or anything else you need just tag me away , I am always happy to help !
Thanks for all your good info man. If I could ask you and purp one thing since I have all my info in this post… my ventilation. @PurpNGold74
I have played with my timer like 2min on 2min off… 1min on 3min off… etc.
Can u make any recommendations from experience on a decent timing cycle? Without allowing my temps to get too helter skelter, while also avoiding the intake and exhaust being ON 24/7.
I do have a portable ac sitting next to the tent on 73-74°
