You’ll want an exhaust fan to help dial in temps as that is a bit high. While plants are little you can run one light over them which will reduce the amount of heat in the growspace and if your lights have dimmers you can lower that single light down, reducing heat even further. You can’t do that for too terribly long but while little you’re fine.
Wondering how much that light setup cost you? I’m about to start my first grow, and I’m gonna be doing photo plants, so I’m very worried about them receiving the proper lighting, but still working on a budget lol. Would appreciate any help. @Freebirdmikes @Myfriendis410 @WaPNWGrower @GreggT

Jeez. Thinking about starting with 3 photo plants. Space isn’t the issue, as I’ll be getting a large tent, I’m just worried about light. Any recommendations for the one best, most cost efficient light?
You are going to want around 200 watts per plant. HLG is a good place to start.

Spend the money now, not cheap route
and then upgrade.

Appreciate the info. I’m definitely realizing more and more my best course of action right now would just be to start out slow/wait and get the stuff I really need. I’m going the long way and starting a vermicompost. I wanna go pretty organic. I saw vivosun has a lot of good equipment for not too expensive. I don’t know really any of the other things you recommended. I think you need to be a member on ilgm for longer than I have been in order to be able to get very good prices. I wasn’t even able to sign in to my account on the ilgm shop. I’ll check them out again. I was prolly gonna end up using seed supreme or seedsman. Any and all tips or information are greatly appreciated.

I respectfully disagree that light is fine for flowering i’ve used that same light for flowering its not ideal but it will get the job done im curently using a sf1000 LM301H evo and its an improvement over the one he’s using but the one he has will be fine
So what kind of yields are you getting? You can grow plants under low light but yields will suffer.
My last indoor plant did over 1 lb. dried. In 5 months.
Yeah i mean the yeild is no where near a lb but the thing is not everyone is trying to grow pounds i grow about 1-3 oz depending on if its photo or auto but recently i harvested this blueberry autoProcessing: 1000011144.jpg…
for 46g its good bud definitely not airy and that was under the same light hes using under the lm301h evo im growing this
Not sure if the yeild yet but im expeting it will be a good amout the thing is id rather grow small but constantly be growing i always have good smoke and growing is my hobby so i dont want to have large gaps where im not actively growing its how i relax if i grew a pound it woukd take me around 14-16 months to smoke it all i like a lot of home growers grow to meet my needs also some of us have more limited budgets
