The girl in the back is the one of concern, her and the two in the front are 11 weeks and are zkittlez autos why does she look the way she does
Light starved. Stretched.
What is your light BTW.
what is your substrate. your watering PH, schedule and temps would cause this too
Looks like she’s starting to flower And will fill in over time. Good luck
Agree with not enough light.
Again what kind of light.
That and a ruderalis dominant auto
@Dyl Cannabis likes lots of light, I’m talking levels of light that would burn some other crops to a crisp…
This is what plant’s grew under lower light levels looks like.
It’s not that you done anything wrong as the plant’s look very healthy so I can say, “it appears you have done very well with what you have to work with”, if our assumptions are correct about the low light intensity that is
Hey @Dyl , I linked your first post here for reference. The purple type of lights we see can grow cannabis and in fact I still use a couple ones I bought years ago to start seedlings and grow basil. But growing 5 plants is well beyond their capability. Even growing a single plant you will get sub-par results. The sellers of those lights exaggerate the advertising and trick buyers into purchasing them. Don’t feel bad though because a great number of us did the same thing. You need to scale down to a single plant under those lights if you have to use them, or spring for real lighting and upgrade to something designed for cannabis which as stated by others wants a LOT of light. The current LED of choice is the Samsung LM301B or LM301H. Same diode but the H version is a little more efficient and uses slightly less electricity. Be careful because there are counterfeit versions out there of these type of lights too. Best to post your choice here and ask if its a legit light before purchasing.
As mentioned your plants look good except for the light issue. Once you address that you should have great results.
More than once, did I buy junk lights.
Then I found the forum, and bought more.
Clearly, a good light makes much difference.
Thrilled to have HLG’s lighting my tent, now, no more counterfeit crap.
Plenty of tent warmers available for scrap.
Have fun growing.
Thank all of you so much the light im using is just a cheapo light from ace just to get me started cause i didnt think i could even produce anything, is there any way to fix her to say or would she be a lost cause
Just go ahead and let them finish.
Adding more light would help produce more flowers and resin but its just a bandaid at best.
Time to find better light and start planning the next grow.
I would go ahead and let them finish and take whatever they give you. Wont be the best weed ever but it will be something. Better than nothing at all.
Very true the other 4 are about ready for drying big girl is the only one ill have left pretty soon, so i amalso about to get a grow tent so i can take it out of my closet, its a 4x4x80 tent how big of a light and how manyplant should i be able to efficiently have
Approximately 600 true watts of quality lighting for a 4x4.
An HLG 700 Rspec would be perfect. While the cost hurts one time the results and returns will be well worth it. There are of course other options.
4 plants is optimal and perhaps 6 if kept a little smaller.
I grow in a 4x3 and can fill it with just 2 plants and have done 6 if flowered early. I get the same yield of a bit over a pound dried no matter how many plants I grow at a time. I do photo period plants as I find autos to be unpredictable as to size. But that’s up to you.
Lost a year, finally got off the fence.
HLG- The gift that keeps on giving.
Double the output and half the load that my cheapies do (they warm the garage nicely).
Perfect advice above.
My wattage is HLG now and going=growing great.
“First time grower” you did nothing wrong.
You have the results of building your grow and get to design the next grow based upon implemented changes.
Good growing to you.
