Hey everyone, first time grower and first post on ILGM. I just wanted to ask for a few opinions on my first grow thus far. I’m on day 10 of my MephistOreoz grow and I personally think its going well. However yesterday during the beginning of its light cycle (730pm-130pm) my power was knocked out. The ambient peramiters in lung room were okay for the plant but I didn’t have much for light except some of my small photography led lighting. Which is by no means powerful enough. I left the light on it until then sun came out and then moved it outside, not in direct sunlight and used my light meter to find a location with proper lighting to the best of my ability. The problem that I think I’m having is when I moved it outside the RH is to low in the mornings for what I need so I believe it caused stress and leaf curling. I have photos below for everyone to see. Idk if that’s the issue for sure but I need a little help please.
Photos taken after I brought it back inside and into the tent.
The power outage was almost 13hrs. My energy company is pretty slow to respond. I don’t know if that makes a difference or not? Also thank you for the tip on the photos I didn’t even notice they were still saying uploading. I have 5 high quality photos coming so hopefully that will tell you more.
Thank you for the reassurance. The first true leaves were just flatter the day before and I was not sure if it was just changing because of new growth or stress. Everything else I was seeing told me it was fine. Just a little nervous cause of the situation and its my first time. Again, I appreciate the support.
That will be something I have to practice. I limit opening the tent to one time a day to check if the pot has dried and to take photos. It’s open maybe about 5 mins unless I’m doing the watering.
I’m a photographer in the cannabis industry but most of my grow knowledge and exposure is much later in the plant cycle. Theses early stages are intriguing for me.
Hey! Welcome to the forum. I’m a new grower and this is a great place to find the info and calm the worry. I’ve been an over worrier with mine and the experienced growers have been beyond patient and helpful. You’re in the right place
Happy to be here! I appreciate that, I think like anybody else starting out I want to be able to do the best I can. What I’ve learned from being on here just reading has helped 10 fold. I really like being surrounded by new and veteran growers for support.
