Durban poison is a good plant to start with. It’s easy to grow, resistant to lots of diseases, and unless you’re careless and kill it, it will provide you with a nice crop.

The main thing with plants is to have good drainage in the soil/ growing medium. Poor drainage will kill most plants. If you are growing in coconut coir & perlite (looks like it in the picture) you shouldn’t have any issue with poor drainage. That stuff works great for drainage.

If you are growing in coconut coir & perlite, fertilize the plant every time you water it, and pour the liquid fertilizer over it a bit at a time so it has a few minutes to soak in, then water again. When it starts to trickle out the bottom of the bag/ pot, pour more fertilizer water over it so it runs out the bottom. This will stop nutrients building up in the growing medium.

When making up the liquid fertilizer, add the fertilizer to the water and mix it up. Then check the pH and adjust the pH so it’s around 6.0-7.0. When the pH is correct, use the fertilizer water to feed the plants.

Make sure there is plenty of air flow around the plants. Plants like clean air and good air flow will help reduce diseases like mold and fungus.

Give them lots of light and watch them grow. Baby and young plants (seedlings) need 8 hours of darkness each night to grow roots and recover from the day of photosynthesizing. When they are a month or more old you can give them more light and less dark (6 hours of darkness) if you like.

Im growing in happy frog. So far i have been watering them with distilled water. Except for 1 time i used the seedling fertiliz3r and i seen some brown spots so i just went back to the distilled water. Every few days just near the plant. I havent watered until it drained. 18/6 with the lights.

How often and how much are you watering these? Medium looks dry, personally I would water 2 solo cups a few inches away from that main to promote root growth. I would repeat every 3-4 days until they take off :love_you_gesture:
