And first timer! Yes! Please! Point me in the right direction for my lighting… I don’t want to go through this entire process for low quality results… as long as the lights aren’t $1000 or something crazy… I’ll totally upgrade. Do you have a link you can send?

This is perfect for a grow room
Here is the light I use, you can get close to 2lb harvest pretty easily
How big is your tent you are in and how many plants are you looking to grow at a time?
My tent is 4’w x 8’ L x 7’ H… and I’m starting 4 plants
Okay… that’s will work… a little high on the price for my taste atm… however… I just looked up specs for what I have and they are each 1000w… so I’m certainly misunderstanding something?
They all lie about wattage you have to really look for thae actual wattage draw
I have 2 of these… in that grow room.
So… if I get the one you posted, in the grow room I have, do I need 2 or just 1?

Just 1 of the light I have. There are some cheaper options but you want to be looking for something that draws close to 500 watts. You could always get a spiderfarmer sf 2000 for half the wattage and half the price. Then add a second one later after you have the funds.

Gonna cost a decent penny to adequately light a 4x8 area thats no small tent haha

When I helped a buddy set up his 4x8 tent last year ended up putting in 3 HLG 350r units but those aren’t exactly cheap either tho they are on sale atm for like $550 you can also use code dude for another 10% off there are definitely other options also tho spider farmer is another great choice all tho ive heard the customer service is horrible but the SF4000 and SE5000 would adequately light half of a 4x8 tent you would need 2 for full tent coverage

Ok… I think ill go ahead and order that SF4000… unfortunately I can only afford 1 at the moment. It looks like my only option will be to use that for 1 half of the tent and the 2 i already have for the the other half, till I can afford another…

You could definitely run all 4 on 1 side of the tent it mite be a little crowded but definitely doable just make sure to train the plants and don’t let them get to crazy
