Try to control your room temp and humidity, roughly on 70 - 75 and 50 - 60%. You can put a small fan in the room to have some air circulation avoiding to blow directly on the buds.

i got that down, got a temp/humidty gauge in the room as awell as a fan. im more looking for info onthe next steps.

Well, the next step is to know when to start trimming and jarring for the cure. Ideally you would want to have the dry last about 10 days. But really it can be difficult to get conditions perfect for that. What you are looking for is to have the stems where when bent they stay bent but not snap into like a dried twig. If you notice the exterior of the buds are getting crusty and easily start flaking then they are getting to dry.

I find the most reliable way to know when you branches are done drying is when you bend a small side bud back and it snaps off that’s typically perfect I’d rather my buds be slightly to dry then most it’s easy enough to add moisture using lettuce leaf it’s a headache to force them to dry faster once cut down
