First time grower looking for advice and help along the way

Would definitely not be feeding them yet, especially if your using tap water. But I am not familiar with coco loco or ffof or happy frog.
Thank you @Enlightened420

Thank you for your responses. I was just looking at what you thought I should be using in the future. Just tap water for the first 4 weeks or so?

Ya I am in coco and perlite which has no nutrients in it at all and I wait until the 3-5 pointed leaves have started before feeding, but if your soil is not to hot then I would wait until your at least 5-7 pointed leaves start before feeding, unless they show deficiencies before then. I’m trying to remember who all is in soil, because I am not to familiar with what you are using, but like I said even in coco with no nutrients in it, I wait to feed for a couple-3 weeks.

Anyone happen to look at the pics I posted? What is that on the leaf? Thanks

I’m not sure exactly what is causing discoloration. But you definitely shouldn’t be doing any nutes or cal-mag. I couldn’t tell from pic taken from above, make sure your leaves aren’t touching soil. I believe someone else has already mentioned watering, but you shouldn’t water to heavily yet. At the stage she’s in I would only be using spray bottle to water. Spray in circle around seedlings so the roots will start spreading looking for water. Hopefully this helps.

Yes it does help thanks @Bulldognuts. I have not given and nutes or cal-mag. My spray bottle broke the other day that’s why they ended up getting more water than usual. I need to get a new one.
The leaves are not touching the soil. Thanks for the help

What distance are your lights from plants? How many days old are they? Seem young

What temp and relative humidity is your grow space? Is it maintained or in constant flux?
The marking could be several different things depending on all factors, could be light burn, nute burn, overwatered, lockout…

The plants popped last Monday @Enlightened420 so about 10 days old. All autos og kush jack Here’s and bubblegum
The lights are 32” from plants
The rh is 50-60% pretty steady
Temp stays about 75 all the time
Any other information I might have missed?
I am getting a new light on Monday if that matters and have not watered. Thanks

It’s nute burn.
Honestly your at the stage where the less you do the better.
Water only when dry, in a circle to spread roots, don’t over water, don’t feed your soils torching hot and your plants showing you that. The struggle will continue until it gets bigger.

#1Work on your VPD, dome them. Let them grow and build roots.

#2Learn how to convert lux to PPFD

This is what you should be focusing on.

I have seen a few tall domes in pictures that look like they are perfect for a 5 gal pot. Anyone know who makes them?
With the dome on will the breeze get to the plant? I was trying to give them a breeze to help strengthen stem. Thanks

2 liter bottle do the same thing if you want a tall one.
Personally I only dome them long enough to get 4 leaves. Sink or swim!

Thanks @Covertgrower I forgot about them. Someone said that the other day also. I’ll get done today.

Another question… I have read that some people use silicon on their plants to help root development. Is this something I should look into?

Silicon helps with Stem strength too, if you’re in soil I wouldn’t worry too much about it, as soil has significant amount.
Silicon is an add on that’s more common in hydro and hydro mediums.
If you already purchased it, won’t hurt any to use it. @Capt.Cola

Thanks @Covertgrower. I did not buy bc I didn’t know if I should. I’m still a little confused about the dome. I understand what it does for the most part. If the dome is on Im not sure if the breeze from the fan will get to them. I must be missing something haha!!!

The dome allows a “micro environment” to occurs and raises the humidity inside. Seedlings and small plants prefer the RH to be above 80%. Some states in winter it gets extremely dry, and it takes a large humidifier to move the RH anywhere. @Capt.Cola

back to the light thing I bought the BEST VA ELITE 2000W from amazon for 269.00 I am having good results with it actually its more efficient than the 700w vipar at 28 inches the full spectrum is rated at a 5 x 5.4 area im doing my first scrog with it my net is 30x60 inches so full light shouldn’t be an issue I hope!!

On a side note would you use a hlg 100 v2 3000k for seedlings or help in flowering?
