Welcome @pamster do u have any pictures of the setup? That’ll help for sure in giving u some help. Ur definitely in the perfect place tho @kellydans@merlin44@Borderryan22 will definitely be able to give u any info u need once u get some pics posted
Depends on the light. I let my girls get that close or even closer to my sf2000 before I end up super cropping them. I don’t let them get that close to my hlg light tho. So if you light is weak. You’re fine. If strong. Super crop em.
Put the main stem between your fingers and roll/squeeze it until you feel the wood inside get soft. Once you soften up the stem, she’ll bend right over no problem at all.
I keep my light close these days. I’m still new to this tho. Right now my light is super close to the top two colas cuz I didn’t know how to get the canopy completely even tbh, I’m still learning, but 12" away when it’s flowering is fine. I keep mine closer than that honestly
I’ve got a whiskey Zulu auto on day 36. She’s been flowering for probably about a week I’ve had to bend 4 of her colas cuz they were crowding the light.
Welcome to the community ! I always advise buy the tallest tent your space will accommodate. Pull and tie the tallest limbs down to gain some clearance. Also look at the Rigging on your light shortened up Possibly gain a few inches . Good luck

Jack herer sounds good. Im an outdoor grower so i dont have much growing advise. But i want to see it grow. Good luck . i do think jack is a good choice for autos though.
