First Time Grower crazy question

Is it possible to add super soil to a plant to help replenish nutrients?

Was discussing with a friend and he said no but i think yes. Just a stoner topic we got stuck on lol.

If its already planted you cant add soil, so if you consider super high quality plant food super soil then yes.

You could tip dress with the well cooked (and hopefully already activated) super soil. Now it may not be completely amended to address whatever issue you see. Most super soils are pretty complete, and depending on the stage/deficiency, u wont want to add more of everything.

Thus using nutrients is a much better idea

@PurpNGold74 @Jarlax thank you. No we started discussing soils and nutrients and I threw the question out there. We are both beginners and help each other out. Might as well say we were both curious. Thanx again. This is one of the best forums I’m on. All you guys are very helpful.

It’s tough if you’re not repotting; it’s hard to make a fast correction with organic amendments, it takes time. But tell ya what, transplant her to a container double the size, with some fresh super soil, any nutrient issue you were having will be gone in a week.

I’d say no. Do a top feeding and or a tea at first sign of flower.

I’m using the old subcool supersoil recipe and they say not to feed it or anything. So I followed their method and got a nice looking plant the first run but she was showing signs of being hungry. This time I’m using the same supersoil but I’ve started giving her a flower tea and i did 1 top feeding of fish bone meal at the first sign of bud site development. And it’s looking a lot healthier so far.
