First time grow with White Widow Auto. (More seeds incoming)

Think I’m just gonna try some LST and selective defoliation on them to open up bud sites. Won’t top until i know exactly how the strain performs. If it is a tall or stocky and gauge how long it takes for them to flower.

Yes on the 4 tops, fim (F**k I missed) I always thought that meaning was cool and funny. Anyway, when I top and want more bud sites I bend her over mid point of the main and tie her down. Anchor the opposite side 1st for support and all the lower branches and future bud sites will grow vertical for that light :love_you_gesture:

What do you think of his 6 and 2 light schedule? In theory it makes perfect sense. The plant still gets 18 hours of light and 6 hours of dark. Also makes sense that plants would droop down after hours of intense light and heat, so why not give them a break to recover. I think this could only work for auto as they don’t need a set light pattern to flower.
Thought?

I was running a 6/2 schedule on my last auto run and they were exploding with growth. Then thrips came along, I fought them for about 2-3 weeks and finally tossed the whole run. Got 6 more with tails going in solo cups for 12-14 days and then to the big house. I’ll run 6/2 on these too. @MeEasy turned me into that schedule :love_you_gesture:

Yes thank you . I have some ww seeds coming with an order I a waiting on . This will be a big help when i am ready to start mine. I have been reading on here now for about a week. Nothing but great advice freely giving. Not like it was 25 or so years ago. I am still a new grower with 1 season under my belt.

I am here to become a sponge. I also have an old school outdoor grower tutoring me. We are in CNY other than starting for summer no indoor knowledge from seed to finish inside. I can’t wait for my ilgm order.

Good luck on your grow!! These seedlings are kicking ass for me right now. Alright got there first fan leaves after a day.

Welcome to the community again, you’ve found the right place brother. I too was an old school out door dude. Bought a house with close neighbors and had to come up with a different plan. 1st indoor grow was definitely a learning experience and would have never made it this far without great and knowledgeable growers on here sharing they’re experiences, advice and help :love_you_gesture:

6/2 from transplant after 12-14 days as a seedling under a T5 fluorescent 24 on or I have a 35 watt led light. After that it’s 6/2 the whole ride.

Sweet thanks. Just got my other seeds yesterday and started germinating. I’m adding an AK47 XTRM, Jack Herer, OG Kush, and a NYC Turbo Diesel. So will be adding pictures in when they start to pop as well. Everyone here has been a big help so thanks.

That’s a nice line up, photos or autos?

All autos… for now. I got 10 free white widow fem seeds from the place i just got this batch. The og kush and white widow auto i got is from ILGM the others are from AMS (Amsterdam marijuana seeds). So i will try a photoperiod somewhere down the line once i get some stock built up and can take however long i want with the photos.

@MeEasy @OGIncognito sooo kinda messed up one of my plants and need some advice. It’s still growing but not sure if I should keep. Root is still growing I can see it through the container. I damaged one of the cotyledons during moving around to water and then it slowly shriveled up and I eventually just plucked it. As I mentioned though plant is still going like nothing happened so far. Any thoughts?
My other two at least are doing great.
