First time grow--Seeking feedback

I’m sharing a pic of my 4 babies (1 auto, 3 photos) all started from seed on 07Jan2025-- seeking feedback regarding my progress. This is my first time growing and I feel that I should be farther along growth wise. Any feedback is appreciated!

I’m concerned that my plants aren’t growing at the pace they should. There are yellow leaves at the bottom of some of my plants that I buried under soil when transplanting. For a plant that is almost 4 weeks old, it’s not clear to me whether I should see more progress like flowering. I’m still reading guidelines and am very new.

When my plants get those yellow leaves at the bottom it’s always been because I have over watered them.

So far it feels like my patience has worked out not the best but I’m excited to see what I end up with

Hey bro! Nice set up and those girls will be looking great in no time, don’t worry. From what I can see, as a first time grower myself, any stunted growth could be from overwatering & the high ppm. I don’t use FF but I see people say it has enough nutes to feed for 4 weeks, so are you feeding them or just giving plain water so far? That ppm is really high for this stage of the plant’s life. Also, I would suggest watering around the edges of the container so that the roots can search for water-- try not to water near the base of the stem until they get bigger. Your pH is good, the range is 6.3-6.8 for soil. I think once you get your watering “schedule” down, you’ll be set. Cannabis roots in soil need to dry out for a period before you water again. Remember, you can always add more water to the soil, but you can’t take it out. Happy growing :love_you_gesture:t4:

Thanks! Any watering tips. I’m waiting to water again when the soil dries out so much that the 5 gallon fabric bags feel super light. It’s a subjective approach but if you have any watering guidance, I’d appreciate it!

Is that an auto or photo? Indica or sativa? I’ve read that sativa plants tend to be tall. My auto has taken off growth wise compared to my photos. Your success is inspiring.

It is a common feeling to many of us.
The truth is “if they live they can get better”.
Congrats, they live.
