I put my humidifier outside my tent and it works well esp since I dont have to cover the LEDs to prevent stress. Just ensure youāre using RO so you dont plug up your carbon filter with minerals if you have one. Iām chomping at the bits to start a DWC run. Iāve got 3 girls in week 2 of transition though so will be a while

I had to tape over the light on the the small radiator and the humidifier but Iām hopefully that a full tank of water and a reptile fogger will take care of any RH issues I might run intoā¦right now itās super dry in the basement!

I dig Iām fighting like 38%
Mine is pretty bad with nothing helping it. 30%ā¦hopeful that a full tank of water will really help that
One thing to keep in mind is, when the plant is young it doesnāt need to have so much air exchange in your tent / room.
So for the first couple of weeks, you can just cut the exhaust fan on every now and then. That will give humidity a chance to build up in your room.
Just my two cents worth.

@HappyHydroGrower I gotcha! I have my exhaust fan running at 3/10, just enough for a little bit of air exchange. Im probably getting all worried for no reason, assuming that when 9 gals of water goes in the rez, that will hopefully send the RH up a bit

Wifepoo flipped her sheet when she saw i bought a space heater for the tent. Wouldnt even listen to reason on the subject at all. Told me to get everything outā¦

My wife smokes like a house fire , so I tell her to bite the big one if she complainsā¦
But nothing is the same for everyoneā¦
Hopefully you can get her to understand that once you have everything that you need that you will only need a couple of more thingsā¦

@peachfuzz she was flipping about the fire hazard that a space heater can pose. I couldnāt even get a word in edgewise in between her rant to assure her that I did a lot of reading and research on the type/size of heater I was getting, to ensure I was being as safe as possible.
Shell inevitably calm down and maybe listen to some reason at that point, getting there will be the fun part!

Plus I may just ditch the space heater once the lights go back to 18hrs of on a day

Unfortunately for me , she smokes like a house fire and is constantly needing more brush for the fire and always thinks she has the best ideas for getting that brushā¦

I think itās a thing for most of our better halves of just other halvesā¦ lol my wifey gets in her ways a many day and then eventually she comes and assist with the grow. The wifey feels like she is saving you from being blinded and unsafe lol not understanding how calculated and planned out you really areā¦ Ithink sometimes my wife feels like she is the inky one who can come up with a plan lol. But heyā¦ we ready to see the two tents start filling up and the lessons to start on filling em up with just one plant.

She means well. Just flies off the handle at times and takes a few days to be grounded. Iāve just continued on and well see how it goes. I didnt buy all this equipment to be one and done!
My sprout shed the shell today, things are happening slowly but surely. Today ill be filling the reservoir with water and getting the air pump running again!
Also think itās about time to start a new journal, a home for this perpetual thing im gonna have going onā¦
