Dude - I had to do a total experiment on my Dark Phoenix in the Solo. I can’t up-pot till I get this 4x set up and rolling - and am actually gonna have to veg the 6 new ones in there and flower the first 3 in the 2x4 and switch it around next run. But atm she’s growing so vigorously I topped her in the Solo!
That chick did not miss a beat! I’ll get a pic later and post it up. Need to update back there anyway. But she was already sending out shoots and I just said screw it - what’s the worst that can happen? LOL!
It’s definitely one of the healthiest beans I’ve ever popped, you can look at her and tell.
And she’s barely a month since hitting the paper towel!

@Tylersays oh yeah dude this strain is definitely a plant with crazy vigorous growth im still taken back by how much weight these things stacked up. They have definitely taken a while to get here as i am 86 days into flower as of today so thats 12 weeks 2 days and i still have 2 more flowering still in the 4x still one of them should be done this week or so but the other i wouldnt be surprised if that one goes into 14 weeks . They were rated at a 10 week flowering time but just from what ive experienced with these alone the extra time really allows them to seriously bulk up an extra 40% just in the crazy foxtailing alone!!!

@The_Chef no they are photos, they may or may not have a auto version but i got them through seedsman they are from greenhouse seed co. Think i got a 5 or 8 pack for maybe 50 bucks or so . Not 100% sure what i paid as it was a lil while ago but they were very affordable
I got mine in like 3-4 days from North Atlantic Seed Bank, but I’m on the east coast as are they so it’s always pretty quick for me from them!
Prices right in line with Seedsman.

Hey @Flipdawg08 when you mounted your strips to the Diablo did you use the supplied screws or did you upgrade to bolts? I’d hate to drop a strip on my plants. I’d be more upset for the plants than the light! LOL!

@Tylersays oh yeah i absolutely did upgrade to actual nut and bolts . Just used a little 1/4 in , 10MM head bolts that were like 1 in long and cranked those bad boys on there tight haha i also had no confidence in those little self tapping screw things that they gave us woth the brackets !

Like I mentioned, I can buy another light but to see a plant broken and suffering and pushing back my harvest would be unacceptable! LOL!

@Tylersays HAHAHAHA its too funny cause ive learned that with me thats the best way to do things as well. Lol just go for it but make sure its all said and done before the woman gets home and starts asking questions lololol but i could imagine the space it freed up in your mancave as i understand how it is slowly loosing space due to tents popping up all around the house haha
So here we are on march 31st. Usually every year i begin getting stuff ready for outdoor grows on april 1st. This year i think im gonna do things a little differently. So at the moment i definitely have more plants than i am able to handle space wise until i can get that 4x5 up and going so what im thinking im going to do is, usually i would do a decent amount of plants outside (15-30plants) but this year i think im only going to want to do maybe 3 outside but i want them to be absolute monsters. Im talking 2-3lb plants in like 20 gal bags . Last year i was able to get some monsters out of my 5-7 gal pots so this year we gonna step it up a notch. Also instead of germinating seeds specifically to go outside i think ill take a select 2 or 3 plants out from the 2x4 and put them outside once the weather get a little better. That way they will all have an awesome head start to put on some size and height to them well before we are getting into the late months before flowering is initiated . Each plant i plan on moving outside is already currently 2 1/2- 3 ft tall and topped multiple times ready to be trained further in any way i decide to do so . I usually get around 6-7 ft tall plants starting regularly so having some that are already half that size right from the start should give me the advantage i need to really cultivate some monsters. A lot of exciting things are going to be happening very soon, so stayed tuned everyone !!

I do gotta say the gold leafs are getting pretty big considering they are all only in 1 gal bags at the moment. But they will all get potted up to 3 or 5 gal bags once i have room in the 4x4 to swap them over into there.
Right now im just waiting on the mailman to show up with my most recent purchase of some more jacks, i ran out earlier this week so as soon as that shows up i can get to watering/feeding the girls today.
I also still have more of that second dark Phoenix plant that i began harvesting the other day to process still . Only about maybe another oz or so to trim and then she will be all set and done. The first DP plant i harvested almost a week ago should be coming up on being almost dry enough to begin putting into grove bags soon so thats cool. Really just want to find out my final weights so i know if i hit the numbers i wanted to or not. And also looking over at my drying rack all i see is $$$$$$$$$ sitting there waiting for me to get it moving . Will have to check up on the drying buds and get back to you guys with how they are doing exactly .
But i still have to get through that today lol ill say it again , too bad none of you are close to me cause if it would be at all possible i would gladly give whoever comes and helps me out half of whatever is left on that plant to take home with them. I just have way to much other stuff going on to really take that time out of my day to get it over with lol . Should only take an experienced trimmer an hour or 2 to cut through it all, any takers !?!?! Lmao

Interestingly enough the Rain Science bag had more weight left to it than the other 2. i would have figured it would have been the driest, but the other two girls are known eaters so…

I really should have fed yesterday but real life screwed that up.
