Hey @Mrcrabs I know you are able to home source your own Frass supply but here is a link where I got mine and they have some info towards the bottom of the page that you might wanna read. May already know those things but may be helpful.
Sweet article, Iāve been using this with very well results, plants super healthy and have even stopped using Espom salt in my mix , great article Iām thinking about Making a thread on bsfl farming and composting, will tag you when I do @Skydiver@Budbrother@Gremmall
Yes my compost has frass,itās poop thatās spread all over my bedding, my bedding consists of spaghum peat moss and coco coir, I add biochar and the bedding Iās done cover the rotting fruit and veggies and the insects will come, once the larvae mature they will borrow and pupate, instan free calcium, amino acids, protein and micronutrients, plus good bacteria, Iām gona start a thread just finishing of a tortoise sanctuary for my babies
I said what the heck, Iām breaking the law but not killing no one , yes my bsfl compost is rich with nutrients and macro nutrients left behind the larvae poop (frass) which also leaves behind chitin and soil gets sanitized by the larvae, believe it or not it sanitizes the bin kills of fungus nats and eat other eggs leave behind, So mites, bats, and all bad fungus donāt survive
I appreciate the tagā¦I figured out why your dogs are going for your plant mrcrabs lolā¦its in the first product video or channel I dont know internet either way its good lol @Skydiver the different articles you share is really like a mind meld superpower because just about the time Iām researching some thought you share a topic on it lol and @Mrcrabs Iāve done my level best to find a shared interest chat room but alas Iām a little out of sortsā¦you know, eyesight? Lmao
Just got done treating the flower children a nice watering of Tea and foliar tea spray too.
Even had a little left over to treat the veg ladiesā¦gonna do a tray flood as I donāt want to mess with the DE I put on top yesterday.
Not much left but will wet them whistle some. Didnāt really need watering quit yet but donāt want to waste all that tea goodness.
Hopefully wonāt be seeing many if any mites when I look here in a few
I watered them with 2:1 tea and also did a 5:1 foliar spray about 10 minutes before lights out.
Some of them (Waikiki and Medi) got into Taco Tuesday. Thinking it was the foliar as that wasnāt there before last nightā¦
Maybe it was the added Frass to the tea but Iām not sure. Added it to the tea 18 hours in and brewed another 6 hours before using.
The veg tent still has a few mites running up and down the removed tie downs but havenāt seen any on any of the plantsā¦just trying to get something to eat but the diners are all closed so starve u little mite bs tardsā¦
Will be watering the veg ladies tonight with another tea with Frass ā¦might not opt to foliar spray them as theyāve been through a lot and donāt need Taco Wednesday
The Autos were tailed 5-3 and yea they about ready maybe another week or so. Just looked at the bud Trichomes and mostly cloudy and touch of amber.
The other Auto Jack H in the veg tent will be ready about the same time too. Pic from a couple days ago of the Jack
Sheās going to yield more than the other 2 combined.
