First grow under way! Three Lemon Haze 100% sativa in a 4 x 4 x 7 in soil under 900W LED

Density for sure. If I’m being honest I can’t comment on yield because I’ve made a mess of my previous grows. I tried to do the perpetual grow and ended up with an overcrowded tent. My yield suffered big time so I’m trying to do a reset and start again

Ok, it was the density of the buds I was more interested in. I know the LEDS get a better penetration - so they are better in both respects. It would be hard to refer back with any confidence when they haven’t gone so smoothly.
I was just looking at some of the mix packs in the seed bank… some really nice mixes there… yeah I know - getting ahead of myself again. It was the 10+10 that got my attention!

The nugs I did get the first time were like rocks. They were solid, smash a window solid :sunglasses:
I grew purple bud with a great success. You really can’t beat getting a deal on seeds. I have quite a few in stock purely through deals :sunglasses:

Well that is the main thing. Really got no clue how dense these will get. But in saying that I have never seen any solid nugs from this strain before I started growing it. But these look nothing like the ancestral grows - they have been more loose and whispy but a fantastic smoke. So keen to try it! Just a taste…

Loose and wispy is a sure sign that you need a more intense lighting setup. I need to stop jumping around different posts. I will end answering myself :man_facepalming::joy::joy:

Loose and whispy was from the previous grower. I have been getting this Haze from the same guy for years - he was my bud guy. He was under HPS but no training or cleverness - he got whispy n loose. Mine are already denser than I have ever seen the strain - and they haven’t started to tighten up yet - if they will… the next chapter in the mystery.

Yeah… don’t want to end up up your own exhaust pipe…

I just built 2 Cutter strip lights. My plants LOVE those things! Got some colas that look like they could be used in a batting cage!

That is the range I was recommended - cutter! Got some really trick lights. I was keen on the 550-R-Optisolis, but 550 Kit looked pretty good as well! Very nice stuff - great specs. :+1: :face_with_monocle:

That is looking amazing - and tidy!
I think a big reason I don’t have larger colas is that I have too many good size (6-8") but not a lot larger than that. Not a bad problem to have though! :+1: :sunglasses:

Yup. The morn spread out your canopy, the more tops, subsequently the smaller your potential colas.

Tis a trade off… 4-6 ~15 gram colas. Or 20+ 5-7 gram nuggs… easy math :joy::joy:

Hahaha. First time ive ever had a plant described with tidy

Exactly - I wanted quantity of great smoke for my first run - figured it didn’t have to be massive to be a great smoke…
My monsters will hopefully end up more as statement pieces

Compared to how tied down and twisted my little forest is - that is tidy!

I haven’t actually flowered under my strips, but I might still. I have some other veg lights, and I’ll need more flowering lights!

I couldnt help myself. I built them on a Wednes. Hung em on a Thursday and turned lights out 4 hours early :joy::joy:.

No adjusting time or nothing. Straight to flower. From under ~200w of gen 1 EB’s to under ~550w of latest gen Cutters. Right into the fire :man_facepalming:t5::rofl:

For me, I’ve just been allowing the Rapid LED fixture to handle load of flowering. I love my cutter fixture though, I can veg at 23W. I turn it up around 40W. I can’t beat that with a stick for efficiency.

Wait what?!?! 40w lights? Or 40w COBS on a rail?

I need more detail!!! :joy:
