Well, changing the fans to run 24/7 has my ‘night’ sitting at 18C and 62% RH
So my variance is +/- 5C and +/- 10% RH
I think I deserve a celebration bowl!

Sounds wonderful! My eldest daughter did a month in Australia near Melbourn in a little town to see her pen pal, she got out before the lock down from covid hit.
That’s awesome your daughter Came to Australia! @Cannabian Melbourne sounds nice I am heading there start of next year to catch up with a friend… I live on a farm of 50 acres…

I’ll play nice until State of Origin - or try to… then it’s war!!! ![]()
I thought I would post an update of the girls. They seem to be adjusting to the new light. Tomorrow I lower it to the recommended height from the canopy - the girls can get their tans on!
Some of the leaf tips are starting to wilt in the tips - not badly. I am thinking that they need the extra light goodness. They haven’t been drinking much - it has been 7 days since watering to run off, but the soil is moist and the pots have decent weight to them. I realise that with my lower temps and humidity, the need for water will not be as great. 22c/ 52% RH
As always, comments and advice welcome. I have a gadget to measure my run off and water on order - due in the next couple of days
Hahaha blues are going down! Maroons are going to flog yas all the way to CHY-NAH this year ![]()
My team broncos have been soooo bad this year! 5 losses in a row What the hell is happening, don’t tell me your team are the eels booo
Plants looking ahhmazing!!
Hahahaha Not a hope!
I cannot figure Broncos out - would be a painful team meeting for sure. We aren’t doing that much better - I’m a Bunnies guy - Red n Green 'til I die
Parramatta have been really impressive. But I think there are too many blow-out scores. The teams are still adjusting - Eels have just done it better.
Thanks. I was a little concerned about the drooping leaves - they are quite large though. Looks like there are a lot of bud sites already - haven’t done a count or close inspection though. Keen to get that light down another 12 inches or so!
They have good players but I think Rona stuffed them up.
Or they are playing crap to get a new coach! who knows behind closed doors
The new rule is alright but not at the same time I like that it is fast but they have to be consistent and you can see who the favorites are ha…
Umm yeah I see now I was mainly looking at your stem! Ha
I was reading this blog before because mine is drooping aswell touching the other leaves ![]()
How to Fix Wilting and Drooping Leaves on Cannabis Plants
That might help… there are a lot of things I don’t know what mine are from
I think I have over fed mine that is why I’m waiting tomorrow to see… have you got many holes in your pot? For oxygen maybe idk my mate he got a Soldering Iron and put a lot of holes at the bottom so he didn’t crack his plastic buckets
They look strong
I think they’re drinking slow and once your light gets lowered they should drink faster? They are going to look cute AF when they get their tan on ![]()
I hope someone can help you out on here it
They have a growers dictionary waaahht!
Thought I would tell you I’ll be talking marijuana language in no time ![]()

You could be right on the coach shift - that was a terrible screw up for all when it happened. It was just a media feeding frenzy.
Eyes up here
when you are typing please! ![]()
Will read that link when I stop laughing…
I have 5 gallon pots and drilled 12 x 12mm holes underneath and keep a small piece of wood in the trays to tilt the pots just a touch. Maybe it was paranoia - but I’d rather be safe. I was thinking holes around the lower edge - but they don’t seem to be needed.
I am hoping it’s just a light/ heat thing - if they stay happy - I’m happy!
Lotion at the ready!!!
Hell yeah @Budz420!!!
That V900 is doin the job! All 3 look really really strong. I can see just a hint of the tip wilt you’re talking about, but barely visible. Colors look great, and ya got some really nice Node spacing. Gonna be some hefty ass plants bro!
Excellent! Exactly what I was aiming for! I am not quite sure why, but even before I started absorbing all this info, node spacing was something I wanted to focus on. Just from knowing that my girls ancestors were never really controlled and often grown outside. I’ve seen them stretch - but with lots of bud sites. To me, it made sense to sort of squash it - get it growing compact early. I get the impression they will really beef up when topped - then I can use some of the height in a SCROG.
I really don’t think the wilting is a watering issue - but I will keep an eye on them - just in case it might be too compact at the bottom. But again, I really didn’t pack the soil in originally - tried to keep it light. I can always cut some slots in the lower edge if need be - that way I won’t damage any of the roots that may have reached that far. Would not expect that though as they are still young.
Hey mate ,looking like a good start ,plants look like there being over watered you probably don’t need to water them to run off you more than likely are soaking the pot to much and having slightly low temps wont help ,in the early stages they love lots of warmth 25 to 30 degrees and high humidity like 60% to 70% but 50%is ok for veg but better in flower
When you are in the early stages just small waterings untill they are starting to get more thirsty then increase ,
You will get a feel for the girls and there needs as you grow more

Thanks for the response - and pretty much confirms my concern. I am thinking it my be an effect of the nute burn from 1 week back. They had a good nute drink - and didn’t like it - so next day I gave them ph balanced water to run off. I’m thinking this could be the result of that.
They are still looking a bit sad going into their night. When they wake, the light will be lower, hopefully pick up a few degrees and encourage some thirst
Thanks for the response - very helpful!
Just dropped the light to the recommended 32" veg canopy height. Hoping that does the trick in getting the girls drinking and sweating. With lights out my girls had 18c/ 68% RH (10-15% higher than normal).
If that fails I will try playing with the balance of the fans - possibly a bit less negative pressure to get them working a little harder and warmer… maybe… we shall see…
I hate not knowing! ![]()
Try using a small oil heater to increase temps they have been my saviour over winters especially as I use led they don’t give out as much room heat as a hps
