That just it he’s already flipped 1 week ago
I was never guilty of being a proof reader. She still should be defoliated when healthy enough to take it. Do a little bit over the next couple of weeks. Just call it the 21 day defoliation.
Agree100 percent.
Not all plants stand tall. I have 2 lemon going now. 1 stands up…1 all leaves look like yours. Same strain.same bank. Same plant time. Welcome to the forum.
With having ur pot sitting in run off will cause root rot to happen aswell definitely lift ur pot up
There’s a ton of info just spewed on you. All good, but flood level. Takeaways to do very soon:
Get your pot(s) up off the tray. Use a muffin cooling rack or some such until you get elevators. Hell, use sticks if that’s all you can lay hands on.
Flush with PH appropriate water to get your past foibles out of the soil. Lots of flush. At least a couple gallons.
Did you get PH Up and Down solutions when you ordered the pen? If not, do so now. In the meantime you can use vinegar or lemon juice for down and baking soda for up. PH to 6.3 or 6.4 for now.
Up-pot at your earliest convenience. I’d wait until she perks up a bit, but that’s just me.
It’s 15 minutes that is not going hurt anything. Sitting in it for hours or days then I get it but 15 minutes. Then letting completely dry out is not harmful. @Qgrower just make sure your not letting soak for hours and make sure pot is light before next water.
Slight update. The plant was in a 3 gallon pot after all. But it was under filled with soil so it was probably close to a 2.5gal. I received my ppm, ph meter, ph down and some FF calmag and calmag plus(not really sure which one I should use when I do).
The night I started this post I gave her another half gallon water and that night and since its looked great. It was just that underwatered it seems.
I did just repot into a 5gal and filled it will ffof soil and watered with ph balanced water only. The root ball wasnt as bad as I thought it would be.
I know Ive messed up my fertilizing cycles. Any guesses on how to go about it now?
She survived the night and looks great this morning.
Ive been slowly removing lower leaves that are shaded and below the canopy. But im not sure how to deal with all of the growth in the canopy since its all tops. Do I just start removing leaves below were the flowering has started?
She looks amazing. Perfectly healthy!
In this situation, I wait to cull low level leaves until full flower. The whole plant will stretch upward even more and give you more room at the bottom to get in there and remove the lower level leaves on the bottom 1/3 of the plant. Wait about 2 weeks to do that in my humble opinion.
You’ve got this! Well on your way!
She looks really healthy, so I would just resume a normal feeding schedule, and keep an eye on her.
I like to rotate my plant and pull lowers slightly symmetrically. 2/4 here and there every couple of days. Wont hurt a bit, just be strategic and clear her out with purpose.
Heres a nice before and after pic of what a heavy defoliation should look like. I just did it to this plant yesterday…
Before defoliation…
And after …
I removed a regular size bowl of leaves yesterday. It opened it up some and I can see a lot more bud sites.
It looks like I should go through and just remove more medium size leaves.
Before and after
You could. And there’s probably a bunch of sucker branches under there you can get rid of too!
Cut down on the larf and grow bigger buds up top!
My underwater problem hasnt come back. And I think im still on the edge of over feeding since I have the brown leaf tips. But other then that shes still growing good.
Ive removed a lot of inner leaves and really small lower buds last week. This is a picture from today at the end of week 4 of flower.
She’s looking pretty darned good. For what it’s worth, once a tip goes brown it never goes back to green. Look to new growth to see if the problem continues. Further, brown tips alone aren’t usually much to worry about. They just mean you’re riding the upper edge on nutrients, specifically nitrogen.
Looking good
Well yesterday it looked great but over night something popped up. I have these brown/copper lines on several of the top upper leaves.
I looked at pictures online and I cant find any good examples matching mine during flower. A boron or mag deficiency looked kinda similar.
I did use 5ml per gal of ff calmag a week ago. I was going to use it again on my next watering around 2 days from now.
Looks like a potassium deficiency? A support ticket would help the community give some more insight ![]()
