No, he didn’t listen to me, of course. But he’s got 300 w now, so twice what he had first grow.

This is the light i have hope it’s good enough for 1 auto in a 3 gallon pot my buddy is doing the same one same set up in a 5 gallon pot same soil hoping to get 2+ oz

That will be adequate for one plant. It’s a 100W fixture. I raised my first under 150W, it was just fine. The Afghans like to stretch, so be sure not to hang the light too high. Best thing to do is check DLI which can be done with a free app on either iphone or android. I found out I was hammering my girl with too much light, which you don’t want to do.
Here is a link to a thread on DLI. I have it keyed to a table showing DLI levels, but the whole thread has tons of info.

So it’s going to be 90 the next few days it stays about mid to low 80s in the garage ( detached in the shade) had a quick question i have my own panel in garage that i run a full fridge on with my light and fan on do i need to worry about over heating and causing a fire. I believe it’s a 240 line

3 days after putting her in soil, sprayed the plastic cup and put it back over her temps are 84 in garage 60% humidity! So pumped!

Maybe you can have an electrician out to check out your panel for specs and safety.

Thank you also how long should i leave this humidity dome over her ? I read till she fills it out I’m so paranoid with over watering because i heard that’s a big killer, i just sprayed it again it was some beads of water in there already should i water around the cup a bit ? Soil is bone dry around it.

You know, man. I thought the SAME THING and avoided sativas and hybrids like the PLAGUE for a long time. Come to find out indicas are more prone to give me paranoia than the others! It all comes down to your own personal brain chemistry. Definitely try them all in moderation of course, cause you won’t know until you know. Now? A nice balanced hybrid is my favorite smoke. Who knew.

And don’t worry about how “powerful” weed is reported to be nowadays. The DOSAGE is ENTIRELY up to you. Half a hit off a pipe? A QUARTER of an edible? Slide in with moderation and a responsible dosage and you got nothing to worry about.

Thank you for that advice I’m not smoking till i grow my own, and get my first harvest i will deff try in moderation so hopefully i get a decent harvest by late October !
