Just started a grow in my new setup 1st time ever so hopefully starting out to a good start growing 2 pineapple kush feminized growing in super soil ph reading 5.0 to 5.3 in soil using ac infinity self watering pots n fabric bags using hlg scorpion diablo x light setting on 1 between 5 and 600 par humidity between 60 and 70 % temperature around 72 degrees vpd between 0.80 to 1.2

I would correct that pH to be in the range 6.3 to 6.8. A pH as low as 5.3 is going to cause problems.

Seeds popped up from soil on 12/16 so today marks weeks since popping from soil 12/30
So do you think i should add a little dolomite lime to soil
Lime can help stabilize pH, but it’s not going to raise pH as it takes too long to break down. Use this to adjust your pH:

I’m new to this was also told since I’m in organic soil ph should be between 4.0 and 8.0 is good just watering with no supplements
You may find this helpful. I didn’t realize that you were organic. Many organic growers ignore pH.

Thanks for info but from my understanding about organic i shouldn’t have to worry about the ph long as it in the range of 4.0 to 8.0 just water n might need to add a boost in flowering

Wasn’t bad have a 70 gallon container mix everything in that 3 to 4 months ahead of time just put them into the soil today hopefully I did it right not dead yet

im only on my first grow but i chose a synthetic slow release fertilizer for the main reason it would have essentially no odor. i was debating between using something like down to earths fish meal but lots of reviews said it smells like fish, and probably not in a good way. if you got a setup where the smell doesnt matter, organic is probably better quality wise, from what ive seen. fully organic sun grown cannabis is a rare gem. weed has been illegal in most states until more recently. hemp in my opinion ruined things in my opinion. there was nothing but safe genuine cannabis on the street until hemp came around. now there are all sorts of dangerous emergency room synthetic “hemp” compounds flooding our world. the government really messed things up with all that hemp crap, and whats most messed up is hemp was made federally legal and legal all over in each state before the products were even tested or had any good track record, meanwhile, our good ol friend weed, who has been around forever, helping people of all kinds, still gets treated like some unrelated thing that remains classified as federally illegal. bunch of illogical unsafe laws we are forced to live by and have no way to change laws like free people should be able to, instead we get treated like slaves who have to obey a master freedom and justice for all my ass
I used that fish meal in the soil i made mine soil doesn’t smell n i agree about the hemp
