Plants are doing good now, but they had an emergency a few days ago. They stopped growing for a couple days, and leaves were droping and looking light green not very alive.
I though it could be anything from under to over watering, low humidity (it was consistently low at around 30% even with spraying wet the whole thing twice a day). Or maybe lack of nuts, or too many nuts, since I fed them once (but pH was slightly off at around 5, found out later).
I transferred them out of the espoma soil and into larger pots (the tiny ones varied too much between wet and dry by the end of the day). Bumped up humidity to 50-55 % by hanging a wet towel from a coat hanger inside the tent. And fed them once to see what happens (half strength pH 6.3).
They responded well and recovered. Going strong now, I can see a few mm growth by the end of the day.
I realized the nuts NPK ratio is not optimal at 7-9-5 (dyna gro “grow” formula), so ordered dyna gro “foliage” which is 9-3-6.
In the mean time I supplemented some extra Nitrogen into the current nuts by boiling potato skins and adding some of that water into the nuts solution.

Hey dude…everything sounds good except a couple things…

30-50% RH is good for Vegetative growth, but in the seedling stage u want RH to be very high…close to 70-80%.

I think u should wait a bit to transplant…when they have 4-5 “true sets” of leaves, then u transplant…otherwise u may kill them from transplant shock.
Like I said other than that everything else u said sounds good! GOOD LUCK BRUV!!
Oh and BTW, SILICA does not increase THC…it’s mainly a stalk strengthener so that your stems can hold up big fat buds!

Did you supplement your Soil (Fox Farms Ocean Forest) with anything extra like worm casting ? The bag says it already has that. I have a fish powder that worked great for veggies before, but not sure If I should mix it with the soil this time, it might give out too many nutrients and overfeed the plants ?

I would recommend you add nothing except perhaps 20% perlite to ffof
But if you do it’ll be interesting to see? …going to follow along, good luck

@fromanoc I agree with @Paranorman and I am still new. My next grow will be ffof until flower then start nutes as needed, However, I have been looking at layering soil and would consider mixing a dose of P &K at the bottom of your grow container while using ffof with perlite on top. Good luck.

One thing I’m thrilled about is the fact one of the babies looks like it is a totally different strain of weed, maybe they messed up at ILGM ? (I ordered 5 seeds of fem Blue Dream, and popped them all).
Look at this picture, the one on the bottom left corner looks different from the others. A different shade of green and different leaf structure (maybe it looks more Sativa ?) also doesn’t have that bluish color in the center like the others do, this one is completely green.
Any Ideas ?? This is day 13 from sprout.

Actually one of the seeds looked different from the other ones, bigger and pale, thought it was a bad one that wouldn’t germinate. But they all did germinate.
I didn’t keep track which one was from that seed when I transplanted to the 4" pots (from 2" little pots).

Something similar happened to me. My sativas look more like indicas and I’m still not sure if my Big Bud and Amnesia Haze are even different strains; they look so much alike. But I think mine have slightly different scents, so maybe that means something.

Interesting man, maybe you can post some pics ? I emailed them including the above pic, let’s see what they think about it.

I have lot’s of pics up in my grow journal, but I’m not really complaining about it. I mean, I’m not sure I would really be able to tell the difference anyway. LOL!

I also have a 2x4x7 tent 4 plants would end up a tight fit but should be ok ill be following. This closely good luck
