First grow in coco and need advice

I think they look good! When plants get bigger they will suck those pots dry no problem.

:joy::rofl::joy: you’ll probably smell the difference once they make it to flower, but you’re gonna have no idea what they are til then.

Looking great, man. :v:

Looks nice and clean with healthy plants.

The northern lights should smell piney.
The gorrila glue will probably be shorter and bulkier then the northern lights but you’ll see the difference if 2 are northern lights and 1 is gg. Might take a month or two.

I’m starting to think about some training. I’ve only really topped plants and try to direct some branches.

These are autos… I’ve struggled with height last couple grows so I want to be on top this time. I bought some little training clips to help

Any thoughts? I was looking at FIMing or just LST with with clips and top… ?

Here’s some side shots. They’re so compact I’m not sure when or where to FIM

Sorry for crappy pics. I have a hard time getting down to their level and not shake :rofl:

Do I have 4 nodes? I’m not sure how to count them this tight.

So reading in your thread @Arrow , it looks like you haven’t done autos, but it’s so big I might have missed it. Maybe you know someone who has. @beardless

FIM yes - fim now. I’d just pinch off the very top growth. @Nicky is another auto guy who might have some insight.

you have 4 nodes fo sho :+1:…if you top now you have 8 branches to work with your clips…cause the node spacing is so tight, your apical dominance will not really influence the branch size, i would stick with that…im not an auto grower… @Not2SureYet is also a great auto grower… :v:

I did a couple of auto grows. However I no longer grow autos. I simply enjoy growing and working with photos a whole lot more than autos. If you are looking for help specific to autos check in on @Nicky @Capt.Cola @MeEasy @Axemanjake23
I still have a bunch of WWA seeds. Maybe I will through some in the garden to see how they do.

Thanks for the tag @beardless , hi @bonger I just started growing autoflowers about a year or so back and I train them but I don’t get to violent with them because I don’t want to stunt the growth. I don’t remember who I stole this picture from but it shows how I do mine except I leave one more node then the original picture so I drew it on there (the red lines) maybe this will help you out…

As for topping and fiming I stick to a regular top because when I’ve fimed in the past it puts four buds really close together and I worried about them getting mold but alot of other growers swear by the fim I just don’t have much experience with it but this picture of course I stole this one too shows the difference between a fim and a top… the fim is just a top that has two nodes close together and you take the leaves off the allow light to penetrate

This stolen picture shows how to count nodes it’s simple just count the sets of leaves

That is hilarious … Let me introduce myself.
I vaguely remember discussing this. I did a quick search and I couldn’t find the one with the extra growth tips in Red. This one is my original
