First Grow ever Need lots of Help

If they’re not pliable, you can give it a soft squeeze where you’ll need to bend and it’ll bruise the plant tissue. Should make it easier and less likely to snap.

if you WANT, i’ll link you @VOL4LIFE to my journal (and i’ll be nice and take you TO the post i did that to mine on, what Graysin JUST suggested above^^ and not make you weed through, hehe, all the other jibberish along the way in there, lol). I was SHREK finger aggressive even though i THOUGHT i wasn’t and they browned right at the bend but everything above and below STAYED green and it brought it to the right height with the rest of the canopy and i TIED it to support it to the tomato cage it was already spread open by. They’re budding HARD, right now,

Thank you immensely for the suggestion. I will definitely try that. Hope you are having a great night!

Sounds Great @TheVirginian! Would love to see it. BTW have to love VA!

Always.

Plus you’re welcome. I’m glad @TheVirginian has examples for you - I’m rather bad at documenting when I do something reckless like a blind attempt at LST that may or may not result in snapping things in half.

I should mention it went fine, I just didn’t think it was going to so I didn’t take photos lol

WOW, lol, SOOOO many tangents of off topic discussions and jokes and such in there had to DO some scrollin’ back to July to find the post but appears i didn’t take pics THEN. a little further down where i speak of “the back yard ladies tied down” (just after the link to it below) you can see where nancy kerrigan is tied to the top “hoop” of the tomato cage on either side. Those were the two “leggiest” center stalks and i bent them outward and tried to do the pinchy massage thing and , well, yeah, was more like +i++y twister fingers or purple nurple… and darn near BROKE’em  i’ll take some pics tomorrow of the brown at those joints now but how they’re green above/below and budding hard like SERVE PRO (like it never even happened  ) Virginian’s Grow Journal What did I do? LOL - #267 by TheVirginian

So here’s the plant I Shrek handed trying to roll it to bend… gnarly looking and still tied to support that stalk but you see she’s making a bud in that green end anyway

Conversely, below you will see her sister, another of the blue dream girls in which it appears I did it properly and they support themselves

@VOL4LIFE how are your girls let’s see some pics growmie did you use the clips? I found adjustable clips on Etsy and there cheap. I’m broke but I plan on picking some up for my next grow

I’m a lil jelly, I want links from my og(original growmie). I’m going crazy :metal:trying to figure out what to feed my girlz. I’m using just add water SoHum Living soil I figured it was from seed to harvest but there website says only 3-4weeks for veg/flower I’m on week 5. Plants seem good no odd color or anything. I’ve been watering w/great white, fish sh!t and recharge. I just received my Xtreme gardening sample and I purchased lotus sample yesterday so I’ll have that as well. I was thinking I’d just do the tea from Xtreme and wait for sample from lotus and I have maybe a gallon of SoHum left over I’m going to split and top dress with it. I don’t know when or if I need more nutes or what to use if I do. I planned on just watering seed to harvest with this SoHum soil.

I’m using the Fox Farms Trio! They seem to be great Nutes but you have to use only 1/2 to 3/4 of what they recommend.

Seems FF is a favorite for many people. I plan on using them in my next grow but you know how plans go with this grow game they change everyday. I don’t think I need any right now idk really I have no idea. I’m going off of looks they seem fine they don’t look starved to me. I know the food has to be used up at some point. I need to figure out how I can tell if I’m out of nutes, I only have the pH and ppm testers.

@VOL4LIFE how many weeks are you in? This is the first day of week 6 for me. Sep.10th I transplanted them from solo cups to fabric pots I think that’s when you start keeping track idk I gave one of my seeds to roommate they have had it for almost 3 weeks now and it only has 2 sets of leaves the first two leaves couldn’t pop due to bean skin so I took the skin off then it popped next day thena1q 2 tiny leaves about a week later I looked at it and it’s trying to get those first set of real leaves but still today it’s just the first and second set trying to grow but it’s not at all. This is the person that thinks they can grow cannabis inside by just sitting in the window and in regular potting soil.

Poor little girl they are torturing her

She definitely looks tortured… I am 3 1/2 weeks in. I am going to do the clips today or tomorrow… Kinda being lazy today lol.

Remember how I said we were all gonna laugh together? We can laugh now.

Go rescue that poor thing, man. :joy:

@Graysin Why do you hate their Nutes? My plants seem to love it but I have to keep it about 1/2 to 2/3 of what they recommend or my EC is way too high. I am also using their Coco and Perlite mixture.

Yeah Im trying growmie I sprinkled some GW on the soil and I have it under a light now. They had it next to a window and just opened up one panel on the blinds to let some sun come in. Hopefully she comes back to life tbh I don’t think she will fingers crossed🤞

I don’t like having to mix three to six different nutes at different quantities depending on the stage of growth (2ml for seeds, 5ml for veg OR 10ml for heavy veg feed) yadda yadda. Plus They are overly salty (literally) so at some point your PH may go totally out of whack and it’ll be from the FF nutes causing a buildup of expended material. Mostly it’s because it’s “too much” for the amount of time I have in a day. My plants seemed okay minus having to flush the excess salts out once every few weeks, and the CalMag deficiency and the needing something else entirely to handle flower time nutrient demands.

She will. Just let the soil dry out before you water her and water her with a nice hearty nute blend when you do. She’ll want the food when she gets properly PH’d water and good light, I’m sure.

Right now she looks a lil like a drowned rat.
