You should be alright.
I FIMmed my best lady but it doesnāt look like I did anything but just trimmed it back to just halfing my two leaves.
@Nicky @dbrn32 @Graysin @HMGRWN. What did I do wrong?
Give it time to grow and letās see.
What post # is the fim did you take a pic of it and did I reply to it?
Maybe you missed. I agree with seeing how it grows out.
Thatās the growth Iād have pinched back - Iām guessing thatās where you did? Tbh itās probably fine - thatās sort of the very nature of the āf*^< I missedā strategy. Iām in concurrence, let it grow out. If it doesnāt split into a couple distinct sections, you can always just FIM the new growth again.
@VOL4LIFE good job growmie time will heal her these plants are weeds there hard to kill.
Can you tell by my Pic if I did it right?
For a fimm. It is hard to know if it came out right till it grows out a little. Topping you can see right away Either way. You should be good. You can always re do it if it didnāt come out
Oh okayā¦ So I can do it again.
Mine looks similar to yours.
Not really, but thatās just FIMs. Lol. If it was a top thereād be a clear cut in the stem but since itās a fim itās just leaves so hard to tell. Haha. Iāve never seen a āwrongā FIM yet tho. Iām sure theyāre out there but I havenāt run into it yet.
@Nicky fimms every thing. I only top so I am not much use here
I pinched off about 70 to 80 percent of the growth.
My question was did you take a picture right after the fim I seen the one at 442 right above my reply.
Like all have said at this point you just let it grow out and see how it grows letās see what it looks like in a week.
Did you follow my fim guide?
Yes I did follow your FIM guide. Thanks so much!
Gosh. I totally did not set to watch and just had to get caught up! I hope all is well with you my bro.
Thank you so much. Any suggestions on my FIMming? @JaneQP
Looks fine for a FIM. What that will do is āretardā that pinched growth and the plant compensates for it by more energy going to all undamaged tops.
Topping stops the growth forcing a distinct split which the plant compensates for by splitting the energy to make 2 true tops.
Both methods work comparably well. The difference is like pie or cobbler, same thing different presentation.
The difference in the 2 methods shows up more in photos because you can veg longer and really shape the plant.
