@PurpNGold74 I hope you don’t mind the tag man, but I have a quick question. I saw where you say you water till runoff then no water for a week then water till runoff again. The way you put it made perfect sense, so I figured I’d try it. Tomorrow will be a week, but I was wondering should I water right before lights out or right after lights on?

@Myfriendis410 @Hellraiser… anyone tell me why this yellow tent is showing up on my leaves? Anything to worry about, if so what can I do…I’m 32 days out of dirt, still no nutes yet, environment hasn’t changed, lights haven’t changed either…
Just showed up yesterday and is isolated to one plant… also, is it to early to start trimming some of these light shielding leaves or can I get rid of some?

Water right after lights on. Also the HLG 260 XL kit you will be very happy . Overall I think your plant looks good let’s see what other community members see.

Looks like you may want to start supplementing calmag. Looks like a slight magnesium deficiency. You can start taking some leaves and opening her up.

I’m glad you said that @kellydans, that’s what I just got through doing, I’ll get this watering thing down one day, I promise…Maybe…Lol.
I can’t wait to get the hlg,problem is, who knows when they’ll have it stock… looks like I’m stuck with what I got for this grow probably… I thought about getting that 2nd model ( the one that’s not XL). What you think? I couldn’t find a difference, but I really don’t know what I’m looking at anyway. Lol. Just gonna take the advice of the great people on here and roll with it…

Thanks @Bobbydigital… I’ve been looking forward to opening her up a bit…what would you recommend to start with for cal/mag? I haven’t bought anything yet.
The only difference is the length of the heat sink. Exactly the same lighting panels.

This stuff works good, but see the 3 numbers at the top? This one is 2-0-0 the first number is Nitrogen right? So keep that in mind, this product and others like it, dont just give the plant Calcium and Magnesium, so work the extra Nitrogen into your plan. I personally dont use Cal Mag on feed days because of the extra N

I use the same as above. I use non fragrance Epsom salts for magnesium. That’s usually the issue I run into as apposed to calcium.

No idea if anyone else answerd. But i always try to water before lights on. Watering at lights off is a bad habit. Humidity spikes at night. Add wet soil and its an environment brewed for molds
Also that was for smaller plants. At ur size in those pots? Twice a week isn’t necessarily bad. Its a by case thing. Listen to ur plants

@dbrn32 was thinking about the upgrade for my next grow. Really need a 3’x6’ tent for my space(shape wise).what do you think of this light with this tent? Or maybe 2-260w’s with this tent?
Generally speaking, how many plants you think i can squeeze in this tent? No scrog, just lst… I want this to be my last light and tent for a few years, so want to make the right purchase…

Why not just do two 3x3’s and put a 260 kit in each of them? Or build what you have into the space you need and not have tent at all?
What you have posted up there will work too. But 18 square feet sounds a lot better than 12.5 square feet.

What on God’s green earth is this thing? I trimmed her up yesterday pretty good but I was in a hurry and didn’t look her over good, saw this this morning, it’s the only one on either plant.
