They look super happy to me. I agree with the second net. It’ll give you more space.
Defoliate as you see fit.

Even before I started using the trimming method introduced by @imSICKkid, I used to remove any leaf that covered 2 or more bud sites.
Day 65
21 since flip
2 days since water
Feeling good! Did some more scouting for thrips and I didn’t find very many. I thinks it’s winnable.
Look at all those tasty buds bud. Im impressed with how far youve come along. But i want more maeve pictures. Wheres her love?
Just wow, I’m so excited for you!! ![]()

Well @RoDeezyDoe when you ask like that… here you go!
I’m trimming yellowed leaves every 2-3 days that are down near the bottom. Still some strange discoloration happening but from about the middle of the plant upwards all that new growth looks healthy. I’m starting to think about a 10 gallon for her… but my thought at the moment is to wait until she’s ready to com inside for flower, so then she can really stretch out into some freshness.

A 10 gallon pot would give you a massive plant! Im excited to see the progress.
I’m surprised this morning to see that Bernard has curled up a bit. Pot is pretty heavy. Maybe on over water?
I watered both plants with 3l each with my generic nute mix they have betting getting their whole lives. I included a bit of silicon/potassium mix also… Could that be the extra stuff?? Why don’t both pants react the same?
Can you check your runoff TDS + pH. I had one plant start to wilt on me and it was my soil that went acidic so I had to do a major flush and start feeding from scratch, and the plant perked right up and did great. Checking total dissolved solids in your runoff will also let you know if you overfed.
@fast-grow I don’t have the equipment for that unfortunately…
Excessive nitrogen.
I can’t challenge the clarity of that statement.
I guess she gets straight water next time… unless a flush is in order. @fast-grow seemed to go that direction, the question is if I should act immediately as they are in plastic pots and soil so she’s another 2 days or som from more water…
Just water next time, and back off the nutrients a bit. You should be okay.
I would check the nitrogen level of the generic nutes you are using. When our ladies go into flower they need little to no nitrogen.
It may be time for you to go pick up some flower nutes.
As for one reacting differently, you probably have a sensitive plant or your other one hasnt shown signs just yet.
I disagree with this. I continue nitrogen into the last few weeks of flowering.
Nitrogen is especially important during transition from veg to flowering, for stretching.
Well we will agree to disagree. Every flowering nute i have looked at has half or lower the amount that a veg fert uses.
Grow big and tiger bloom is what im using.
6-4-4 compared to 2-8-4.
Im no pro, beginner status, and im not trying to step on toes or give Misinformation. I just go by what i see or read.
Jacks nutrient line goes approximately 3-2-1 all the way through the end of flowering.
5-12-26
This being said I haven’t used this, but there are plenty of others who have, and were successful.
We can all agree to disagree. That’s fine. The important part is, nobody is swearing at each other over it. ![]()
