Yea I think the branches should come off. The lights are about 18” off the canopy.
I need to redo part of the setup to move them up further…
If you have a garden center near you, you could always go pick up a 2nd trellis net and set it up higher in your room.

Yea. I didn’t mention that. I plan to put up a layer 2 scrog, but I’m chasing that net down. They only had really giant ones at the store I go to. I’m checking again this week.
My main concern is moving the light. I may not have enough room to do that without moving the ventilation.

You can see that my plants responded to the lights extremely well.
Ventilation also had a big impact…

Will you show me a picture of how your light is set up? I gained a few inches by taking the little ratchet rope thing off of mine and hooking it directly to the highest spot if that makes sense.
I also went to home depot and grabbed one of these.
Im going to attach this hook directly to the ceiling and then hang the light from that.

Same setup for me (I used nylon rope though from my camping gear).
I’m as far as I can go. I just need to elevate the bar. There are pre-drilled holes on the wardrobe so it’ll be 15 minutes to fix it. I just have to cover the girls so I don’t get wood chips all over them…
Lights just went off so I don’t wanna open them up at the moment.

I picked up the bulk pack from amazon. I use them to hold plants up when they get too heavy too.

Took my coffee down to the magical closet this morning. Man I’m excited!!
I’m sure these plants are root bound and about to give me some trouble, but I can see the buds now and am about as excited as I have been since they popped out of the soil. I ah even been zooming in and out of this picture for an hour now…

Bothe got about 2l with nematodes today. The fungus gnats seem to have faded based on the long drought and the paper plate I put over the soil. The thrips however just won’t quit. I applied neem oil two days ago and they are under control but are persistently re-emerging.
The buds are becoming more and more bud looking.

Based on what you see above, should I defoliate as they really start to flower??
I would give her a little trim below the bud sites.

Yep like @MrPeat said and you might want another scrog net to spread that out a tad more and give more support!

I first target excessive huge fan leaves as mine can get as wide as a basketball.

Anything blocking bud sites and anything below the net. Top view looks good, side view looks a little cluttered. Just my opinion…
