Curious when to start defoliating some? They are getting bushy!
May not be as big an issue when my net comes in.
I don’t have enough experience for a good answer here. I’ve been going at them every couple weeks when they look like they can’t get air through. I’ve seen people have a “schedule” they like to stick to.
This is a harder one for me to answer as well… Someone more experienced needs to chime in here.
You defoliate based on your preference. No set time to start. If you don’t like that big fan leaf right there pluck it. If its fine right there and doing no harm leave it. I would get all the little sucker branches off the bottom though. The little stems that dont amount to anything they just suck up nutrients and waste energy and don’t give u anything except light larfy doodoo buds. I personally take the big huge fan leaves out cuz all they do it block light. The really really old.ones. once u take those off the smaller ones will take charge and so on. And u can train and top and so on while you do it. It’s all preference. Bso my advice is just do you man do what you think look good and what you think will have good air flow and light penetration

It’s all about light penetration for me when I’m pinching. If it doesn’t cast a shadow where I want light I don’t touch it. But I’ll grab a bunch it it’ll get light deeper and make a difference.

Alright. All repotted into 7 gal pots. Got rid of the kiddie pool. Added a net but haven’t had time to start tucking the branches and what not. Couple pictures of the update.

You’re gunna probably wanna get some drainage trays though. Does that fan reach all of the plants?
I have the 2nd small fan on the last plant the big fan doesn’t hit. Drainage trays that I ordered will be here Sunday. Figured I’d make it work until then.
Very little free soil when I transplanted.
It rained here today so I noticed humidity in the tent today was around 80%. I’m using a dehumidifier to fix the moisture problem tonight.
I did get a tds meter in today. Curious what I’ll find with it being straight fox farms ocean forest soil. No nutrients added. Plan on checking the runoff when I get the trays under them.
Also ready to play with this net. Curious how this will turn out. And advice here welcome.

I’m also amazed that the last plant still hasn’t shown the sex yet. Over 15 inches tall and has been topped.

Alright… so I watered last night and checked Ppm on each pot…
I put colored things in the pots to tell them apart.
Run off ph 6.3
Tds
Blue - 1301
Red - 1525
Yellow - 1605
White - 1705
Green/teal - 1705
Tds seems high. Also noticed a lot of yellowing on some of the plants. Again no nutrients added. This was last night right before the lights went off. Haven’t looked at them today.

Still nothing on the last one… strange.
I have heard of some plants being stubborn like this before. Try giving it maybe a little more darkness. I think people have done this before.
Edit: wait, did it already stretch too?
Lights are already off for the night. Don’t want to mess with them now. I have to water first thing in the morning as I’m surprised they aren’t wilting. Think I’m going on 6-7 days without watering.
As for the stretch? Haven’t seen much stretch. Maybe some after I raised my lights an inch or 2 the other day.
Sorry been extremely busy and feel like I haven’t even seen my plants in over a week. I just glance through the window sometimes as I walk past them.
I plan to take some pictures in the morning if I have time first thing. Will try and update here when I get a chance tomorrow.

When it goes into flower it should stretch. So it seems like it just hasn’t gone into flower. I feel like keeping lights off a bit longer might kickstart it
Problem is I’m not ready to flower them because I’ll be moving the tent when my building comes in. Figure I don’t want to be in flower trying to do that.
