This is my first auto grow.
Needed to bring the girls out for a quick defoliation. 4 weeks into flowering and things are moving right along. Amnesia is my smallest plant, but I think her buds are gonna be huge!
Good vibes & happy growing
Cheese
Amnesia
QP
5 weeks into flowering. I think I will feed Amnesia one more time Saturday and start her 2 week flush. Cheese and QP are a week or 2 behind.

Mr. Kitty says QP smells delicious

Hey @Brobdab imo they are not ready to be cut yet. I would guess it still has another month or so to go. About 50-70% of those white hairs will turn red/brown before it’s ready to go
Thanks. That’s kinda what I said though.
1 more week feed and 2 weeks flush for Amnesia is 3 more weeks. And since cheese and QP is a few weeks behind that would be a month or so, lol
(Give or take because these autos seem to have a mind of their own )
I have a microscope to check the trichomes when I think it’s getting close. I will definitely need ALL the help when it comes to making that judgment call. I’m still not confident in knowing when there should be enough amber for couch lock and that’s what I prefer.
My last grow I jumped the gun and harvested to early. I do not want to make that mistake again.
As always, I’m grateful for any input or advice
Today was going to be the last day I feed Amnesia, now I’m not so sure. She’s still growing pistils and fattening up.
On a side note, I can not wait for these autos to finish so I can focus on the sour diesel, wedding cake, and runtz muffin photos I have vegging.
That amnesia doesn’t look anywhere near done to me. I think you e got a solid 2 weeks left. Autos can be funky with their timing. As long as they’re not foxtailing like crazy then I’d let it rock at least a little longer.
She’s really been eating her bottom leaves. I let her finish until the leaves fall off easily.
My first grow was photos and I never had yellowing close to harvest because I gave them to much nitrogen. So, maybe this is a good thing?
I’m a little worried tho. If she has 2 plus weeks left I’m hoping I can make it to harvest without her losing all her leaves.
I gave her nitrogen until the 3rd week of flower. I’m surprised she’s already out of nitrogen.
In an attempt to make babies (seeds) they’ll suck leaves dry to give em the energy for a last push to make their buds bigger n stickier making it easier to catch some pollen. As long as you don’t give her any pollen you will just end up with bigger n stickier buds
Edit = some will make bananas to get themselves some pollen to so always watch for them too.
I hope that won’t happen. Since you warned me about Zkittlez I check for bananas every day.
Obviously not all plants make them but I like warning newer growers, and didn’t remember I had already oops
No worries! I get stoned and forget sometimes lol
It happened in my first grow. I stressed my sour diesel by taking to many leaves off and the humidity was high along with temps. It became a hermie and gave me tons of seeds.
I have 2 planted now. Hopefully they won’t herm as well.
My first grow was so bad
I just don’t understand Zkittlez. It sat in the dirt and didn’t grow AT ALL for almost a month and now it has tops for days.
I’m so glad I didn’t pull it. Just a tad annoying I won’t be able to harvest all 4 plants close to the same time and here soon I need the space to flip my 4 photoperiod plants.
(Zkittlez was germinated the same time as my other autos).
These crazy autos definitely do their own thing…
I’m not 100% sure, so I could use some advice.
Maybe I’m being paranoid, but does it look like Amnesia is starting to foxtail or is she just putting on weight?
She is growing new pistils on the tops and sides of the buds, but it is happening on the entire plant.
She is foxtailing a little, there’s two reasons for foxtails some are just genetic others are from light/heat stress. Best way I think to tell which it is is the lower buds will foxtail if it’s genetics where only the top ones will if it’s lights. I’m sure like everything else there will eventually be an exception lol. I do see that the top leaves are clawing to that’s a sign of light/heat stress
Edit = foxtails are just a deformity and only affects how they look
I keep it 75 F so it must be from the led lights. I will raise them up a few inches just encase.
I thought my autos needed more time because they were doing the same thing. Let em go too long and they came out airy. And not so great. It was my first grow though and I messed up a lot so technically they did good and I didn’t. This was months ago. Growing photos now. Runtz blue dream biscotti and slurricane
QP is not be very big, but she smells amazing! I can’t wait for her to finish. 10 weeks from germination today.
