Firepit Weed Grow Journal

No. Google Magical Butter. It’s a company in Florida.

My little private bottle of hot sauce is actually pot sauce! :upside_down_face::purple_heart:

So we tried some LED landscaping lights at the fire pit. We like it mounted better on the wall as opposed to mounted on poles. The ones we bought came as a set of 4. They have a bright 270 degree lighting and look great but being solar and light sensitive creates a problem. First it doesn’t get as much sun as it should and the light sensitivity and motion sensor caused issue while in use. It created a condition where the lighting would go off when in need. This we could not do. So here is the two choices we looked at for location of the lighting.

So I had to come up with a solution to the problem. I wanted them to stay on when I wanted them to regardless of lighting conditions and motion. They were cheap enough that the solution I have come up with is perfect. The lights themselves run on 3.7 volts DC. I looked around my house and in an old drawer I found a Nokia phone charger and low and behold it has an output of 3.7 volts DC. Yay so the solution is to power the LED’s directly. I haven’t mounted them permanently to the wall yet with screws and hidden the wires but this is how it will look when I am done.

This is the lights I got at Amazon so you can see what they actually look like.

That looks really good good job!!!

@Oldsoldier1976 be careful with disturbing the plants rest period. I’m not sure at veg stage it will be as much as a problem, but during flowering it can cause issues.

Looks great

The lower mounted lights really do look better in the pictures.
We strung fairy lights out back under the pergola. They go from multi to white. We got them at Costco ( my happy place ) when they went on sale just before Christmas. I’m a native Floridian, so I gotta have fairy lights, and I’m pretty sure I get to U-turn anytime I please.

We rig these up front and back for low light. I think we have 6 up now. You know what? I think my husband and I just might be a touch tacky!!!

I was at a women’s conference representing my church for the last 2 days. At my table we started talking about appliances we most love. We were bonding. 1 lady who was old enough to be my mother - late 70s - started telling us about her Magical Butter machine. She was talking about making extracts, flavorings, oils, etc. She didn’t give the slightest hint she knew it was primarily for weed, but she was a wealth of other recipes! Now I want to make orange honey butter!

@Oldsoldier1976 your house and all of your landscaping is beautiful man ! Reminds me of mothers (rip) house in va back in high school , she always had me working in the flower beds with her and helping in the garden . Much simpler times back then . Alzheimer disease and dementia are the bane of my existence now . But 1 can only imagine what she is toking on up there?? Lol. She was a long time smoker . And im sure it helped her pain at the end .

I think you are right. I would not be surprised to find that at the end after harvest that the Durban will have a stalk 2 inches thick or bigger.
