I’m saying mine are"cattailing" now. Made up word! They look like the fuzzy blooms aren’t individuals, but connecting down each stem.
Seriously, I’m having fun growing the plants. My husband is proud of the job I’m doing on them. And, he and I had never seen ( much less smelled) growing pot plants. These would look really great in a raised bed garden with a cattle panel trellis!

Looking fantastic @Oldsoldier1976!!! I agree some bending/supercropping to strengthen stems and some thinning out of branches to prevent budrot may be a good idea before you leave.

@Amjk thanks. I am doing some LST pulling branches over but I had not considered removing some branches to prevent bud rot. That might be very important on the Maui. I think the Durban is is more likely to have thinner buds. I think the Maui gets some large fat buds but since I have never grown it or any others before I am open to learning and hoping to do it right in the end. Less than a month away.

@BunnyD thank you on both of those compliments. My wife, mother-in-law, and I work a lot on the property. We are essentially at the end of our lot improvement. We bought this land about 25 years ago to build a home on it which we did 15 years ago.
That is cool that your husband is proud of your accomplishment thus far. He should because as I know this is not easy. My wife is also proud of me as well. She hemmed and hawed when the electricity bill went up $40. LOL I almost laughed but then she is kind of right that is an expensive hobby for me. A lot like my golfing. It is a tough life I live but one of us has to.
I like your idea of the trellis. I will look and poke at these two and try to keep them healthy. I don’t know what I am going to do with this much pot. Okay never mind you people I know what to do with it. Have a big party! A wild party!

That is something I did as a kid as well. Me and 3 friends smoked ourselves straight one night. Smoked all night long and when morning came we were an ounce or so lighter and not much smarter. LOL
So I got the lighting I want. This is the first location test. It has problems here. If there is a decent sized fire it sees it as enough light to turn off. Our next try will be tomorrow with bamboo poles. This I think will be just what the doctor ordered.

These are my tomatoes growing up a bent over cattle panel. I’d love to grow marijuana this way! And, it’s super cheap!

Nice set up @BunnyD . Love the garden. Looks like you don’t live in TX at least not the hotter parts of it. Too bad your state has not changed the laws yet. I would say give it time. More likely it will be the feds that will eventually get it together. Either way it shows me that you have a green thumb. I think I am doing okay with my grow so far. It took me a while to get my act together.

My husband says if I drop 1 seed on the ground and 2 plants will grow! Our soil creates freakishly large flowers and veg. I have gladiolus with flower stalks almost 5 and a half feet tall with bulbs the size of baseballs. My Crepe Myrtles are in full bud and blooming for the second time this year.
Plants either go nuts or do nothing. I’d love to grow outside! Someday…
My plan for these girls, Magical Butter and oil. Do you have a Magical Butter machine? It’s amazing! You should check out the recipes on their site. Smores anyone??

@BunnyD I don’t own one one yet. I have been considering getting one. But I might also get a rosin press first. I kind of like using shatter to make vape. I have been buying that at the store and making my own vape cartridges.

I make Lemoncello for friends at Christmas. The MB machine cuts the time it takes by about 4,320 hours. I’ll also be giving rosemary olive oil this year. Think I’ll do my nails while I make that.

but you just use MB machine to make a tincture. A few drops or more and hey presto- weed Lemoncello! Or weed Dr Pepper!
Show your wife the MB site recipes. You don’t have to limit yourself to weed. Best of all - drum roll please- IT’S SELF CLEANING!!! ( Long pause for cheering and applause) Yep! Yep! Yep!
Of course it makes great pot stuff as well. And there is that whole time saving thing.
