Quick share for those who grow in Hard water areas with a lot of junk (500 ppm +) floating around in the tap water. I am speaking about water that leaves a white scum residue on your faucets over time if you don’t dry it off with a cloth.
This was shared with me on this forum by a guy named nugz I think?
I strictly use the Gen Hydroponics Trio, (Green, Burgandy, and Pink colored solutions) and local water filtered Reverse Osmosis.
If I do not use RO water within a month the fan leaves will start to get brown spots and by the end of the grow most of the leaves look horrible.
Even when I used RO water the fan leaves would speckle and just start getting bad about a month (30 days Approx) into the grow if I was mixing all 3 Trio Chems into feeding.
You are going to purchase the
Solution GH Trio of chemicals without the Green-Grow solution, so you are just buying 2 of the 3 chemicals. Gallons are around 30 Bucks per.
Note: I have to use RO water only. I do not use any straight tap water, or I will get the same problem leaf discoloration.

PH Up (Blue Solution) for me of (60 ML) to raise it to 6.5 as I grow in Dirt.
I will say I am at 5.6-5.7 ph so I am tempted to go hydro, but have not to date. I am thinking I could really save money by not buying the blue PH up chem.
I am mixing 4 gal of RO and I am using. RO base measurement was 40 ppm of stuff floating around in the water.
4 Gal RO Water (40 ppm).
Mix in this order below.
12 ml Cal mag
60 ml Micro
120 ml Bloom
60 ml PH Up
Pinch of Epsom Salt.
My base RO water around 40 ppm after all chems 1520 ppm using my mix formula. I feed this every time I water to run off of 10-20% of volume.
If I am using the 0-8-16 formula will be around 1200 ppm
My herbs are always a beautiful Green thru the entire process.
I may not come back to check the post. Peace-Out
