That all sounds good. Yes I’m using coco. Plan was to use jacks on one plant & grow dots on the other. Not sure I’ll be able to tell much w them being 2 strains. LSD-25 & wedding cake.

It’s a fun experiment either way! Now that I’ve got a little stash built up I can play a little bit more.

Ikr? I’m so looking fwd to having my own stash. Locals have all but stopped selling in my area. Not sure if it’s bc they can pretty much get medical for any ailment but it’s just still too expensive. My state just changed last year where you can buy flower & the area I hang out w friends is de-criminalized so nobody bothers you for a personal amt. so my grow must stay inside. So dumb… the weather here is insane from April-Nov. Either it’s close to 100 w humidity in high 90’s or it’s raining. It’s sun-tropical so I’d definitely need plants that could handle the weather to be outside. It’s like breathing underwater lol Then there are the hurricanes! There were so many trees/utility poles down after the last one, a nice plant wouldn’t have survived.

If you’re in coco you should be watering with full strength Jack’s pretty much every day until you get water draining out the bottom. Coco has no nutrients in it, so the only food they get will come from you and will be washed out if you water without Jack’s.
If you mix up a bigger batch than you’ll need for one day you’ll need to check and adjust the ph before adding. Ph will change in the jug over the course of just a few days. At this stage 1 gallon could last you until transplant and would see significant ph rise without adjustment.

@DrWoo I’m so nervous about overwatering/feeding. I didn’t add anything until top was completely dry & cups were light. I’ll make sure they get fed every time now. Do I water to runoff everyday even if coco is still damp?

Not even that - even two of the same strain both from seed can be insanely different. I’ve done the experiment twice now with autoflowers from seed. I’ve learned the only way a straight comparison will ever work is two clones cut from the same mother at the same time. Use the same medium, two identical pots, and have a light big enough to give em the same light coverage and intensity. Only way to really, really rule any other factors out.
That said, the project will be informative all the same. I am a huge proponent for Grow Dots. I am also a huge proponent for Jacks. It’s a difficult choice - I like just throwing tap water on my Dots plants but once you involve an autopot, the Jack’s is so stupid easy it hardly matters. 
That’s the only really concerning thing about your weather. Hot and humid is veggin weed’s best friend.
Coco is a bit different than soil. It becomes hydrophobic if it dries out too much. It’s a good idea to water plants in coco once a day or once every two days, enough to just start getting runoff.
@DrWoo is very right, the jacks gal will get full strength from seed to finish. Nothin in coco to supplement her naturally.

Coco isn’t like soil. It’s more akin to hydroponics. Water with full strength Jack’s every day until you get run-off from the day they sprout. You never want the coco to dry out, even the top layer. Coco will turn hydrophobic if it dries out and you’ll give yourself fits trying to rehydrate. Ph to 5.7 - 5.9 every time, especially if you mix up a jug that will be around for a few days/weeks. Ph will start to rise within a day or two in the jug.

What’s wrong here? Light is 30 in above plants 20/4 at ~75% intensity. Temp 80 RH 68. Humidifier on low. Fans for air circulation. Growing in coco.
The pic shows a few leaves that look like they’re folded under. Been like that since it got its first true leaves but there isn’t anything under the leaves to make them flatten out. It’s also has lightning of some leaves.

Getting veggies the first time this year also very excited!! However I thought graysin meant that hot and humid is great for being in vegetative state for your MJ… either way both true lol
As far as the leaves I will let the pros weigh in but that kinda looks like one of my AK that is a mutant… lol nothing was wrong just leaf variation maybe just a phenotype? Someone advise if I’m mistaken

About a month ago, I started some ILGM Runtz seeds for the next generation I have going. I have some small, cheap, Amazon blurples that I keep exclusively for the seeding and clone stage. Long story short, mine exhibited a similar trait and discoloration, which I personally believe was light intensity being too strong.
Once adjusted, I could see the newest leaves currently forming “growing out” of the problem. I’ll try and find some pics!

Looks like new leaf weirdness
They’ll grow out of it. Give them a couple more nodes and check back on the oldest “new” leaves - they should appear more “normal.”
I had a plant that kept her new leaf weirdness for about 8 weeks. I was sure it was just a permanent mutant but eventually she grew out of it.

It’s called “variegation”, totally normal. 
Quite common at that stage and early on.

I hope everyone had a wonderful 4/20! These girls are almost 3 wks since sprout. Miss LSD’s variegated leaves are looking better. Should they be about ready to go into their big girl homes(5 gal)? My light in the 3x3 tent is chilled 200wt 3x mini that says veg 3x3, flower 2x2. Is this enough light for flower or do I need to be picking up a 2nd while the 420 sales are up? Just want to give them best chance for success!

Looking great!! I would move them to their forever homes… they are ready to rock and roll!! As far as lights I will defer to the experts as I’m still trying to learn about all the different kinds… @dbrn32 is a light wizard but I know @DrWoo has been helping or others will help here… good growing to you and Happy 420!!
