Filter for clay ball dust

I didnt read about boiling my clay balls before using them and just rinsed them well (I thought). It turns out there is alot of this junk in my system and I need to get it out. I’ve purchased a couple different sediment filters with different microns of filtering. My question is before I use one, does anyone out there know what the smallest micron filter that wont filter nutes or is that a stupid question?

You will find regardless that as it catches the sediment the flow will slow down. To stop almost sometimes. The finer your filter floss the quicker it will clog. Keep your eyes on it so you don’t get a back up of water or flood if the full filter floss clogs the drain.

The nutes are soluble in water and would not stick to the filter medium.

I’ll probably run it off my chiller return line so I’ll notice a temperature drift if it gets cloggy (hopefully). Thanks for the input and its good to know it wont mess my nutes up.
