Looks good, those SS explode when they take off very nice plants for sure ![]()
I see the ones you’re filling up your scrog with! Hope mine turn out that bad ass dude!
Nice . I came over to share my outside gals with you and just in time to see your outside gals
, they’re looking good dude ! Got some frosty snowgals there . I take it they must autos to be in flower at this time though ?
So I made it back over to the country to check on my outside gals yesterday. Not to shabby ! I figured August is when they will start to bud so I cleared around them with weedwacker to give some space . Gave em a good brewed nute tea . Then a good little silica shot in pond water and a little powder bath of diatomaceous earth for unwanted critters . They smell so good already . Stalks almost like my fist . Purple ghost candy is 6-6.5 ft . Snowcaine and sparkleface is about 5.5 . Figure when they switch to bud and stretch will be some decent 7-9 footers?? I didn’t even look at the other 3 on other side of property. Last I checked only one seemed like it was doing anything halfway decent .
Anyway I want some of y’all’s suggestions here . This year was a last minute thrown together outside grow . I’m already working on next year’s . Plan is this . Inside the same chicken run I want to fit 3-4 in ground on one side , then 3-4 in 100 gallon pots on the other side . I’m going for, excuse me I WILL have 12-16 ft monsters !
I need suggestions for first and foremost mildew/mold resistant of the biggest , highest potency and terpene strains that you guys can think of please.
If your strain is chosen and anywhere within reasonable distance from me here in the Binghamton/Ithaca area of NY than you to will be partaking in what is reaped . Well I’d share with anyone in that distance anyway the sh$t grows on trees ffs.
But strain suggester will have an extra little pillow to rest on for awhile . ![]()
I have a CocBamba clone outside. She’s the 3rd run, 7ft tall there were 3 autos 2 of them the bugs liked, they stayed away from the clone. Last year my girl was a purple haze, i read that haze is a better mold resistant strain also. Your not that far south from.me Growmie its nice to know there are a few on here from NY
Becoming monsters of a very awesome kind
Yeah I don’t know what is getting at these but a good amount of leaves had quite a bit of little of little circular holes in them . Any idear what kind of bug does that ? I just picked them off and didn’t even think to get pictures till on my way home but I’ll get a picture next time I head up there .
Maybe the shower of diatomaceous earth I gave them will take care of whatever it is . I blasted my garden here at home with it and everything is untouched for the most part . Also have a prepaid voucher for 1500 ladybugs I can use to. Hopefully it’s something that either one of those methods will take care of it .
So yeah man , is good to know I have some growmies from here in the area . I’m still a newbie yet but expanding and I’m sure I’ll be getting into clones and breeding at some point in near future . Would be nice to have someone to trade with .
So how far north ?
Im near Newark. Yes it would be nice to have some close by have found a couple @Seeddog is in neigborhood just threw a bunch of coco bamba clone clippings away no one was in need. But the clone can give more shes outside and hasn’t started flowering so another trimming is due.
Usually if there are holes in the leaf, I think slugs or snail and you see them only at night. If the holes are all around the edges of the leaf, I think grasshoppers and they feed moreaat night as well as being masters of disguises.
Ok , now that you mention . Not this trip but the trip before when I had to unwrap vines and everything was overgrown in that area I did flick a couple off . But after clearing the area around the plants I didn’t see any literally on them this last trip but it being day time might be why .
Luckily there isn’t any real damage to the stalks or stems it’s just the leaves and the plants are healthy otherwise. Obviously I’d like to minimize them anyway. I just read that nematodes is one way to deal with them and I do have a prepaid voucher for them but I’d rather keep it for like fungus gnats on the inside plants . Plus I just don’t see how they would work being they are in the soil . I wonder if the diatomaceous earth that I showrred the plants will turn them off a bit ? Here are the few things I just read that says repeks them . Lavender, coffee grounds , vinegar or garlic water , lemon juice , and or laying sharp sand or mulch around the base of plant . Have you ever used any of these methods or any other methods that would be a quick , easy and convenient to get and make methods ? And cheap ?
I’m not into the clones yet but I plan on getting into it at some point . I still want more lights , a decent rosin press , and infusion machine , then I’ll probably get into the clones a bit. But that sucks that you had to throw them away . I think the same thing when I clean my plants up . So what I’ve been doing to get a little better use out of them is put them in half gallon jar of sugar water and keep them like you would cut roses
it’s pretty and gives you a nice welcoming smell and purty flower walking in the door . ![]()
Oh I keep them in a jug of water they keep well on low light have had the last batch sit in water for a month before i had a spot figured out
Fooling around with a concept from another Forum, electroculture. Made up enough of the copper rods to stab 5 of my outdoor canna containers and a bunch of my yard plants that I feel are struggling. It’ll be interesting to see if with what’s left of this season will show a distinct effect of these antennas.
I do have some control plants out there as well to try and gauge against.
Where’s Waldo??
Side note- there’s discussion about pest control as well with these. That’d be a plus for sure.
