Fertilizer schedule

I’m using ergmans Flowertime Fertilizer for the first time. Read the schedule for indoor growing in soil as m ow to mix 1 teaspoon per gallon of water. I’m starting into the flower stage and have switched lighting to 12/12 hours. My question is how often am I watering the plants with the the water that has the fertilizer in it? Everyday? Once a week? My plants are in are10” Xiamen pots that are about 10” High. Thanks for your help!

Hi - I use Bergmans too. But I have a coco based soilless medium called Roots Organics. I water every other day (sometimes every third) with 1/4 the nute dosage (if it calls for 1200 ppm, I use 300) at 5.8pH. If my runoff ppms start to dip or I see some leaves with some issues, I will bump up the dosage.

If you are using a true soil, as opposed to soil-less, and are watering less often at 6.5pH, you may want to go with a higher or full dosage.

I think the key though is measuring runoff and watching the leaves. The runoff ppm in flowering should be no less than 1000, above 1500 preferably.

How many gallons in a 10" Xiamen pot? Minimum for an adult is 3 gallons, with 5 or 7 being preferable for an indoor grow.

start light on the nutes. 20% of printed schedules is a good starting point. Adjust as your plants indicate.
