Fertilizer for Autoflowers

FoxFarm Ocean Forest Potting Soil Organic Mix Indoor Outdoor For Garden And Plants - Organic Plant Fertilizer - 38.5 Quart (1.5 cu ft)..,

This is the soil I bought for my White widow Autoflowers. I plan on germinating and starting my seedlings off in jiffy organic pellets then ( once the roots start poping out of the pellets) I plan on placing them into 3 gallon fabric pots.
Question 1; Do I even need fertilizers at all with this soil?
Question 2; Are three gallon planters to small? I was under the impression that they don’t grow more than 24inches tall so no large planter needed. Am I wrong?
Thanks :blush::wink:

PS I’m growing indoors/ grow tent. 2 led growlights 1000W each. I’m all equipment ( I believe) with everything I need. I’m just not sure about these two things asked above. Thanks again :blush:

@Yvette welcome to the community.No you won’t need any fertilizer with that soil for at least 5 or 6 weeks. I use 5gal pots for better yield

Autos don’t like being transplanted , go from seedlings straight to 5 gal pots

I have had aquariums for 30 years. Thrive C is the product that I trust the most, I think you should also try this fertilizer for aquatic plants. My factories are fine. Some better than others. I have used other branded plant foods and iron supplements. When I switched to this plant, my plants looked better in a week. It’s wondrous. They have been thriving for the past 4 months and the plants that barely survived are growing fast and looking great. I can’t believe the difference this product has made. Shrimp is fine. Fish is. All is good. It’s expensive but worth it.

This plant fertilizer for aquarium is safe to use on planted tanks. It does not also contain any copper, so your snails will be safe if you have any of them. If you are keeping shrimp and other invertebrates, you can rest assured that they will be perfectly safe.

Hi and welcome :wave:t2::wave:t2:
I’m definitely a newbie too and no expert by any means, but I use the same soil.
You are going to need to introduce nutrients after some time. Also, I’ve done all of mine in 3 gal fabric pots.
Happy growing! :green_heart:
