• Temps; Day, Night: precisely: trying to keep temp 78 Day, 70 Night
• Humidity; Day, Night approximately 50%
• Ventilation system; Yes, 6 inch
• AC, Humidifier: cheap unit I run when humidity drops below 40%
Three of the photos above are the same plant I fear may be a hermaphrodite. That’s why I included a photo of her two sisters behind her. All three plants came from the same batch, but this one got stressed the most when I attempted a replant when she was 12 inches tall and its been all up hill from there. So what do I need to know to determine if this is a hermie or not?
Also you have to remember growing from seeds you will get different phenotypes. And since Maui Wowie is a hybrid not only will you get variations from plant to plant but you could also get an indicas out of these seeds even though Maui is 80% sativa.
Look at the bud sites as she grows. Herm plants will produce female flowers first, most often, then small green/pale nanners will emerge.
Nanners are obvious in a lot of ways - they’re a bright color. They’re smooth and have no trichomes. They’re a different shape, almost like a thin flat leaf
Can you see the funky bright green spot in the lower right? That’s a nanner. There’s plenty more on the plant but this is the most obvious shot I’ve got.
I’ve read posts from others about leaf discoloration during flowering and they were reassured this is normal, but their leaves were yellow mine are several colors. I need some reassurance here that all is OK and my flowers aren’t in any danger.
Dooooood… shes gonna put on a show for you… thats beautiful. Thats what i want my grows to do. Nothing is wrong. Shes maturing. Heres a pic of my last harvest. Check your ppms tho. You might wanna up your phosphorus
I have had a lot of experience with “nanners”. I zoomed in and can’t really see anything but it is worth keeping an eye on.
I used to have some good pics of nanners in a bud but deleted them. This is one I kept. It is a magnified pic and you can see where they get the name.

Around post#200 is where this bud with nanners is discussed. Almost dead center of the pic is the nanners.
Relax and take a deep breath thats not a nanner. You’ll know it when you see one. If you do its not the end of the world. If its just a few here and there you can clip them off. If they’re all over the plant you wont need to ask it’ll be obvious.
Weed can be put under tremendous stress and not go Hermie. Most times thats from lighting issues druing flowering or just plan old genetics.
Just wanted to post some pictures. if anyone sees anything that looks abnormal or an issue I need to address. This is the end of week 6. I’m getting closer to the finish line.
I’m thinking I’m getting close to the flush before harvest stage. Problem is, I have these cloth pots just sitting on the floor. I think I was supposed to set them on something that would help runoff runoff, By now I’m thinking I can untie them from the scogging net so I can address this issue when the time comes.
3-4 more weeks easily. Those buds will put on a lot more weight. Wait until nearly all those white hairs have turned brown and receded back into the calyx’s, then start checking trichomes.
