@Tbusch what soil are you using? It’s probably just hot, meaning it’s brand new and loaded full of nutrients for mature plants and slightly higher than what’s recommended for seedlings at a guess of course. Starter soils are preloaded a bit lower. Please follow up with that ok.
That is possible. I used Fox Farm Frog happy frog
One thing to be aware of, do not keep the same water in a jug for a few days. Always get fresh water, the ph can rise quick especially with a small amount of water. Can throw off a seedling quick, i found out the hard way.
@Tbusch only that leaf is worse. Focus on your new growth and disregard that dying one. Soon you’ll be plucking it right on outta there!!!
At this moment in time she’s super fine.
Update.
Well folks! 15 days later she’s still growing and looking healthy from the hips up not sure why they lower fan leaves keep drying out. I had infestation of fracking mosquito fungus but I treated her with Diatomaceous Earth food grade and worked for the flying mosquitoes but not sure if the fungus larvae still in there, should I transplant her? Or just wait? This is my first time growing and actually, I am not quite sure if she’s doing fine other than my intuition for plants lol any thoughts or advice?
lower fan leaves will die off in time, what size pot is she in now? she is looking good
It’s a 12 inch (5gal) pot is that ok for flowering? I just wanna make sure she’s growing healthy lol
5 gallon pot is fine
@NoisyMind well she’s definitely throwing pistols now so imho a transfer might not be the best of ideas at this moment in time. If you stress her roots while lifting her out and into the new pot she may stunt on you. It looks good from your pics. Use this experience to make your next run that much better. All of us have room for improvement and next time you’ll have this experience plus all the gained knowledge from here. Post some pics soon of your flower development!!
Hola again y’all! Well, here she is right now, 7 days later form the pics I posted earlier and almost into 4 weeks into flowering. I think she is happy tho
I don’t like to trim my plants, but I took some advice from the more knowledgeable people and I did some trimming on the dying fan leaves (not much, but looks prettier lol) but I do have a question, do you guys think she’s budding normally? I think she’s over buding, she’s throwing flowers to close to each other, I’m not sure if that is normal or what’s up? Any thoughts? Here are some pics! Let me know y’all!
Also, although she looks like she’s developing flowers, I don’t see lots of trichomes just yet, I see some on the naked eye and others with a magnifier
shes looking good, if you have to tuck some leaves so the bud sites get light then tuck away.
@NoisyMind the trichs are the next stage in her development and I think your bud sites look great.
Now I will admit I’d like to attempt some of the monster colas I’ve seen on here by reducing how many main branches I let stretch upwards. Word is less stalks = bigger stacks lol. We’ll see. Your doing great!!

That’s what u look for n the flowering stage, it’s just ur buds stacking. N they b stacking very nice. Totally normal, n well done, have never heard of someone worry about over budding, I wish mine would over bud.
Ur doing great!
BlockquoteI think she’s over buding, she’s throwing flowers to close to each other, I’m not sure if that is normal or what’s up
@NoisyMind lol come back!!
Thank you! @Fieldofdreams
Not sure how I deleted the post lol but here I go again!
Hello everyone! Here is motita entering week 6 into flowering, I think she looks great due to the circumstances and negligence she’s received lol
Should I defóliate her at this point? My lights aren’t the best quality as I got them from Walmart lol and she still has baby bud sites at the bottom of the plant that aren’t getting developed.
Also, when it’s the best time to flush? And specially, when to harvest?
I did a lot of reading about it but I’m still lil confuse on how to tell if the trichomes are clear or milky/ cloudy lol some of the pistils are turning brown and curling down as they should but she still has lots of white pistils.
Any advice and opinions would be greatly appreciated y’all!
