Can anyone tell what is happening with my fan leafs should they be cut they are big as my hand and wavy

I personally would wait a bit before trimming, not terribly long, but a week or so.
Also, is this an auto or photo? Autos are less tolerant to the shock of trimming and that should be taken into consideration

Ah, well trimming them is fine then. As for when? It would not be bad to trim them now… just a bit early as my personal preference goes. I like em kinda bushy

I’d let that new growth open up a little more before cutting the large fans. I know they get in the way when trying to bend and pull the branches, but they’re basically big ol solar panels.

Let her grow Growmie. How long are you planning to veg this plant? I defoliate and remove all growth below the 3rd node and defoliate at switching the light cycle then again at week 3 and 6-7. I’ll pluck stubborn leaves along the way but not a lot

8 week veg time is the plan

I would recommend letting her go another week or so and start applying LST from the top down spreading each lower branch out so that they grow up and between the uppers. I don’t tie the lowers down until they’ve reached the upper growths height. The intent is to create an even canopy so that all those bud sites receive equal lighting

That was an Orange Sherbet auto but I train both autos and photo periods using the same methods and techniques
