EXHALE 365 ACTIVATION... underwhelming

so how long after “activating” the exhale 365 bag should i see anything happening, like mushrooms starting to grow…? how long before any co2 is actually being produced? i activated my bag over a week and a half ago and nothing… its like a rain forest on the inside but nothing has changed whatsoever. dead spores or do they just take forever?

I’ve always wanted to grow shrooms. I’ll be watching

I just Googled this product, and the very first review I found said:

There is one major flaw with this item… and they dont tell you on the listing, which they really, REALLY should… This bag wont start working AT ALL for about 30-45 days. Period. It says it right on the bag.

Other than the size of the bag they have two options
The exhale 365 is one that you have to combine the shroom spores at top and the food for them at the bottom. This option allows one to buy it and have it on hand when needed up to 365 days
The other option is the one that comes already mixed and is already in the process of growing and will be quicker to start producing CO2.

I bought one last year and used on a grow. It took over 30 days for the medium to turn white (producing c02).

@Juco
Just an FYI you won’t see any mushrooms growing.
They selected a specific strain that doesn’t readily fruit mushrooms.
What you will see growing is the white mycelium which exhales CO2
If you have the 365 is will take another 2-3 weeks for it to be far enough along to start putting out decent amounts

Hope this helps and HAGD

I have done numerous testing with co2 generating products and they will raise co2 levels slightly.

But you have to remember one thing, people that use co2 use it in sealed rooms to keep the co2 from escaping.

If your running regular ventilation and exhaust the essentially what you are doing is venting your excess co2 out of your grow area.

I wouldn’t expect co2 numbers to reach levels of 1000ppm either with these products

I have 2 exhale bags in my unsealed 4 1/2 x 8 x 7 tent and probably average around 750-800 ppm CO2. I’m not running set up using VPD or the like but just happy with the added CO2 they provide.
My tent right now is completely open on one side 8x7 and ppm is 720
I have been happy with the levels in my tent. Although I must add I’m in the basement where levels are higher than upstairs and if I had a second floor and growing up there it would be even less.
Outside air is about 400 ppm

@basementstealth been there done that.

Wow i never got results anywhere close to that so my hats off to you. Most unsealed rooms can’t even hold those numbers if co2 is being distributed with a tank.

Still sitting here with tent open doing some LST and CO2 at 900 ppm. Lol I must have deep lungs producing a lot of CO2 or my worm bin is helping too…lol

my room is sealed

Are you measuring with a co2 monitor?

Breathing in your room can rapidly increase co2 levels.

Yea is the white little box hanging in picture. Zoom in you can see reading like 907

Right on

For the sake of the plants I’m gonna try and get my woman and I to get to groping and a whaling in the room the tent is in…lol
That will get the ppm way up
