I was told to flood my table every other day? I have been feeding daily now I’m told to slack off. Please help
I think most flood their tables a few to several times a day. Some considerations made for size of plants, type of media used, and conditions of your grow need to be considered though.
Who told you to flood it every other day and why?
A guy I thought I could confide in on Facebook. He told me I will worry about root rot if I flood every day. When for 2 weeks he’s never said anything. Oh lord. I’m growing in Rockwool 4x4
I would look into that more. Pretty sure the mechanical properties of rockwool require it to be flooded often.
If you were growing in soil that retains water for a long time, he would be correct. But rockwool isn’t going to hold water like a soil will.
I’m running two tables and flood them once every 2 hours for 30 minutes.
That’s kinda what I was thinking. I’m like 2 weeks into this. Thought I was taking to someone that knew what they were talking about. Now it seems like I’m starting to see that he isn’t as knowledgeable as I thought
Are you running hydro guard?
No, only because my rez is around 65F.
Ok mine is 65-66
Kinda looks like a root issue. @imSICKkid @Covertgrower any thoughts?
@Myfriendis410 thats what I was kinda thinking. Res temp is usually 66 deg Fahrenheit. Not running hydro guard. Kinda wondering if I should go get some
How much air are you pumping into each tote? How low below net pot is water level?
They are in a table in rock wool cubes. Flooding half height of cube. 2x daily. 5.8-60 ph. Res temp around 66. Jacks 321 nutes. Silica
How about this?
For the third time: what about this?
How many air stones are you running in res?
